Q: I've played around with BreezeDoc (which is insanely good for the price), but ultimately decided to use ...
another tool here on AppSumo (BunnyDoc – which is also not perfect) for now.
Here's what I'm missing to commit to BreezeDoc:
• Flexible document editing options within BreezeDoc. While only few tools have this, it doesn't seem like a complicated request.
• Responsive text layouts (based on size of actual input fields). It's STILL awkward for a section filled out by the client to slide on top of the other text in the contract "just because" their address or company name was a bit longer, or because they've agreed to providing 2 more services. The text layout should dynamically (and automatically) change to ensure this never happens.
• Organizing documents is a pain. In fact, there is no way to currently organize documents based on clients/project/etc.
• Typing your signature as a default option is just unprofessional. Even IF you decide to offer typing your name as an option, the default option should be drawing your signature. Then maybe uploading a picture of your signature. And as a last resort: sure, someone can choose to type their signature too.
• Some sort of verification/authentication stamp should be added to the signatures (similarly to how DocuSign does it). Each page of the document should be stamped with a unique document identifier. And the activity trail should be automatically added to the end of each completed document for further authentication.
• The 40 signatures/month limit is crazy low. It would be nice to have the option to at least expand it "indefinitely", similar to how you can expand the maximum number of subscribers on SendFox indefinitely by adding more codes.
While I know BreezeDoc is still in its early phases, and it's already a solid tool for the price, these features would make it truly competitive. Do you think you can implement these down the line?
