As someone who’s tried countless productivity platforms—Notion, Coda, Evernote, you name it—I was honestly skeptical when I first heard about Buildin AI. But after giving it a proper spin, I’m surprised by how much it streamlines both my personal workflow and my side hustle.

What I Loved:

All-in-One Workspace: Buildin combines docs, project management, mind mapping, and databases in one clean interface. I don’t have to juggle multiple tabs or tools every day.

Integrated AI Tools: The built-in AI assistant is way more than a marketing gimmick. It actually helps me brainstorm faster, summarize meeting notes, and even draft content for my playbooks that now sell on the platform—without me needing extra subscriptions or apps.

Content Monetization: I managed to start selling some of my exclusive templates and docs directly through Buildin, which is shockingly easy. No zapping data back and forth between marketplaces (or worrying about extra transaction fees).

Migration Was Painless: I moved my Notion databases, old docs (CSV, HTML, and DOCX), and even kept my workflows intact—with almost no learning curve. That’s a big deal for anyone who dreads migration.

Collaboration: Real-time editing and granular permissions are up to the mark. My small team picked this up quickly, so onboarding was smooth.

What’s Not So Great:

Still maturing: Since Buildin is relatively new, I did spot some minor bugs and occasional slowdowns when handling very large databases or switching between heavy mind maps.

Template Ecosystem Smaller (for now): The template library isn’t as extensive as Notion’s yet, but what’s there is practical, and updates seem frequent.

I find the tool very helpful and well thought out. The only thing I’m still missing is a German backend ;-) then it would be perfect!

It's been a while since a startup has impressed me with such a mature approach to product development. No promises or a million features. Just a smooth, fast, and perfectly functioning application. I've been using content management applications for over a decade. Notion is perfect; I always come back to it. I have a dozen similar tools purchased from LTD, but Notion's simplicity and effectiveness always draw me back, even though I've grown completely bored with the UI/UX. Buildin is just a copy of Notion with additional gigabytes of space and aspirations to add practical features (Mind Map, Finder, Gumroad). It makes sense, and it's also created in a very pleasant and refined way. It's all I need - clean, not expensive tool to be effective. I love it and hope that they will continue this adventure for long time

I’ve tried a lot of tools that promise to do everything, but Buildin actually delivers. It feels clean and focused while still being powerful enough to manage docs, projects, and databases in one place. The AI tools are genuinely useful for searching, summarizing, and writing without breaking my flow. I also love that I can share or even sell content directly from the same workspace. Simple to use, fast, and thoughtfully built. This is one of those tools you keep coming back to because it just works.

Buildin AI is truly a great alternative to Notion. It looks like Notion, works like Notion, and the performance is also very good. I would like to see a German-language interface in the future and an even deeper AI integration—so that the AI can create databases based on instructions and modify items within databases.
