Unleash Creativity and Engagement with Butter's Interactive Meeting Platform
I have been using Butter for my online workshops, and it has been a game-changer.
The interactive features, like elevator music and ice-breaking tools, make my workshops engaging and enjoyable.
I love the variety of options Butter offers, from flashcards to shared music, making my meetings organized and productive. It's way more fun and feature-rich than other platforms I've used.
The community support and unlimited meeting lengths are added bonuses that enhance my overall experience.
I'll be very candid here, there is a learning curve, but I will say they have superior customer service and video tutorials.
I love that they assist in real time and make changes or a video tutorial to help with things you bring up that perhaps they didn't think of.
Because learned are accustomed to Zoom, there is a level of frustration with a new platform. I love the pre-planning feature, lobby music, and breakout room capabilities. The graphics are a bit elementary, as it relates to being able to make it more of a corporate, professional feel. It seems, as of now, to be tailored to audiences that serve youth. I would like to see some more mature color profiles and themes.
Overall, I recommend Butter. They've put in a lot of work and it improves on an ongoing basis. You may provide candid feedback and they're not taken aback by it, they improve. They're helpful and knowledgable about their product and I can appreciate their expertise and video tutorial library.
When I first looked at Butter, I was a little overwhelmed: all colorful, where you're used to a more subdued design from other video tools. At the time, I would have seen it more as an add-on tool to add variety to individual sessions, but not as a foundation for events. In recent months, Butter has evolved a lot, new options have been integrated, and we now use it to design entire webinars. After some initial irritation, participants really like the "colorful" feel of Butter.

Another gone
After 1 year of buying it this was sold to Miro, and now abandoned.

Good while it lasted...
I used Butter for well before they had a lifetime deal. However, they announced that the platform will shut down by February 27th, 2026.
