What we've shipped since launch 🙌

Hey Sumo-lings,

Great new updates in the last two weeks, we wanted to share them with you!

TL;DR: Lists verify a lot faster, exports are more useful, and you can now push your clean contacts straight back into Mailchimp and Brevo.

Verification is ~15x faster.

Speaking of slow domains: we'll warn you about Yahoo. Yahoo and AOL deliberately stall verification probes. If your list is heavy on them, you'll now see a heads-up before you start the run, so you know the wait is on their end, not ours.

You only pay for rows worth checking. Every upload gets a free pre-scan that counts duplicates and broken syntax. Those rows don't get billed. You see the quote before you hit go.

Exports you can actually use. The single "download everything" button is gone. Pick your scope: All, Deliverable, Deliverable & Risky, or just Risky.

Mailchimp + Brevo, both directions. Pull an audience in, verify it, then push the clean contacts back to any audience you choose. Or leave them where they are and just suppress the undeliverables at the source.

Enrichment across 15 providers. Add names, job titles, companies, and social profiles to the addresses that survive verification. There's a Premium tier if you want deeper coverage on email-only rows.

A pile of smaller things: typo suggestions on likely-fat-fingered addresses (gmial.com and friends), paste-or-URL upload instead of only CSV, passkey sign-in, a Bulk Jobs API that handles up to a million addresses, live progress while a run is going, a Help Center, and a rebuilt billing page with a plain-English summary of how credits and plans actually work.

And the boring stuff we're proud of: runs now recover on their own if something falls over mid-list, and our verification probes run across multiple hosts so one bad server/network can't stall your job.

I got our whole domain blacklisted with one "clean" list

I have a number of products, and email is a big part of our outbound strategy. It got expensive fast when we were sending to a lot of people — and worse than the cost, I had to throw away some domains because large chunks of the lists we sent to just bounced and ruined my 'inbox placement'. That's the part that really stung. A domain takes months to warm up and build a reputation on. Then one campaign to a list full of dead addresses tanks it, and you're starting over. I'd paid for the list, paid to send to it, and paid again with a domain I could no longer use. The verifiers I tried didn't really help. They'd hand back "risky" or "unknown" on exactly the addresses I needed a real answer on, and leave me to guess. So I'd guess, send anyway, and pay for it later. On top of that I was juggling separate tools for verifying, cleaning, and enriching — none of them talking to each other. So I built CleanMyList to do the thing I actually needed: take a list and tell me, clearly, who's safe to email and who isn't. It checks every address nine ways — real domain, live mailbox, catch-all, disposable, bounce history, spam traps — and gives one plain verdict per contact, with the reason. It rescues addresses worth saving, enriches the good ones, and keeps everything in one deduplicated database I can trust.
