I am in awe of the tool, quite remarkable. I was sceptical at first of the capabilities of this tool as I already use Patchstack (formerly Webarx), a previous Appsumo offer. The two products work seamlessly together in the Cloud. This means less manual time clearing spam, checking logs, stopping IPs. All this is an immense time drain.
Cloudfilt does exactly as advertised. It filters bots, spam, scrappers, tor visits and more in the cloud. I have tested these and it really works. So no more content theft via scrappers, floods of spam messages and nefarious activities via VPNs or Tor traffic.
It also promises to minimise click fraud when running Google or FB Ad campaigns, this would also be immensely beneficial when I run my next campaign. A well deserved 5 Tacos.
Love this app, so easy to set up, and it has stopped so far since activating on one of my sites on May 27th 205 malicious bots. I love the features it has. Lets you know where the all the traffic is coming from in terms of Geographic location, whether its a bot, you can blacklist IPs.
Prior when Cloudflare would generate traffic stats (monthly) it would tell me my site was getting thousands of visits per month, I knew this to be false, because I wasn't doing ANY ADVERTISING AT THE TIME, and the site was only ranking for one keyword on the 1st page of Google for my city in the UK (which is not a large city), and it was a very low traffic volume keyword (200 avg searches per month). So where on earth is these thousands of hits to my site is coming from? So before Cloudfilt I could never get accurate traffic stats. Now I can.
