Q: Script optimisation question

Hi,

We are an agency and manage many wordpress applications requiring support for both Google and Microsoft consent. Recently, we have had a trial of Cookiebot, which has created many issues, including (but not limited to): 1. created a conflict with our preferred caching plugin, WP Rocket, causing it to malfunction and no longer be able to optimize 3rd parties 2. Conflicted with our wordfence setup (even though whitelisted) and more.

It looks like you are tackling some of the over-bloated load that cookiebot dump on you without any control, but could you confirm the difference - I need page speed and an easy life.
Thanks

A: Hi,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience.

We understand how crucial performance and compatibility are, especially when managing multiple WordPress sites. Consently is lightweight and gives you full control without adding unnecessary load. It can also enhance page speed by blocking most non-essential scripts until user consent is provided.

It is built to work well with typical caching and optimization setups, with minimal chances of conflict. It also follows standard practices to reduce potential issues, and scripts can be easily adjusted or managed when needed.

Consently supports both Google and Microsoft consent requirements while keeping performance impact low.

We’ve also introduced a Consently WordPress plugin, it is pending Wordpress directory submission, hence we encourage you to contact our support to get the plugin

Let us know if you have any more questions.
