I really enjoyed this while it lasted, but apparently the saying "all good things must come to an end" is true in this case.

I really wanted to like ContentGroove. I waited until the very end to refund, hoping that the issues would resolve.

Overall, the platform is pretty fast and sleek.

However, it has some glaring issues. First, I connected 2 different YouTube channels and no videos imported. So I had to do it manually. Even if they did, CG downscales to 720p. Their FAQs say to contact them regarding this, and nothing changed after I did so.

The text style/formatting was not customizable. Most importantly, it couldn't repurpose my side-by-side interview videos for vertical platforms.

In the two months I had access, I didn't see many updates either. Overall, I hope the team makes some big improvements. So much potential here!

It's clean simple, does what it states and by that it's an invaluable tool and there is a cherry on th etop of the cake which is it's the best transcription/subtitle creator for European Portuguese that I evre found.
I see this tool in the future and I smile if it has this potential in the future the sky will be for sure the limit.
I'm only sorry I didn't bought tier 3.

I really wanted to make this my go to but lacks way to many options and elements.

Cons:
1. The editor does cropping but it does literal cropping as in doesn't allow you to add padding like on any other editor. So when you crop you can only crop within the video border and not convert lets say a 16:9 into a 9:16 and have the whole video in the screen. It would just be a zoomed in version of whatever section the 9:16 grabbed.
2. I have tried to wait but subtitles options are a must but it only has basic black border over the video.
3. Can't import media so you can't throw on a watermark that got cropped away or add additional elements that you want unless you use a outside app but at that point. You might as well just do the cropping there.

Pros:
1. Super fast. This thing is blazing fast compared to a lot out there but that means nothing if I can't use it.
2. Good clip selection and editing. The selected clips are usually pretty good and can be used with hardly tweaking necessary so the length. But this is only good if you plan to keep them in the native format/resolution and aspect ration otherwise you end up having to leave the app.

I know they are new and I would love to stay aboard but by the time they add the features we need now I may not even remember I purchased it. They are on the right track speed and efficiency but lack to many required elements in my opinion. You should buy it if you are willing to wait to see if they add them.
