Grat Software!
Very easy to use and install. You can exclude pages or css id's what is very useful. Only few translations must be edited (Video = TikTok??? :). But editing is easy.

Now the issue: Accessibility

ConveyThis helped me out for a project that has no multilingual capacity, GREAT!

There are some drawbacks, that I´d like to see improved to raise my score to five stars:

1. Quality of translations is somewhat poor sometimes. Please make sure that the translation AI understands the context (that includes your own platform)
2. When using domain extension ?locale=de, each page loads first in English, then quickly switches to my desired language, even if I already switched my language once. That´s not ideal. Would be better to have my language instantly when going through the different pages to improve user experience.
3. Please offer public roadmap and feedback
4. I can imagine to use Conveythis for my agency to serve clients. Please consider whitelabel, so we can resell the translation to clients. Maybe a higher appsumo tier could be a great base.
5. Some mentioned that the dashboard is a bit outdated design-wise. I agree, please make the look more modern.
6. Mentioned this in a mail to your support already: when adding new sites, it doesn´t recognise if I translated similar/same content already beforehand, which forces me to edit the new translations again. The system should "remember" my existing edits, also when translating new pages.
7. Currently, in German the system only uses formal language "Sie", which I don´t want. I want a more personal informal language "Du". Forces me to edit almost all translations.

That being said, absolutely usable and looking forward to improvements!

The app is solid and works extremely well. Integration is straightforward, the UI/UX options for displaying the translation button are excellent, and performance is fast.

The main drawback is AppSumo’s terms: even the highest tier isn’t suitable for a medium-sized website, since the limits are unrealistic, forget to use for 10 domains, it will barely fit a small site in 3 language.

That said, if you use it on a single site it will quickly pay for itself — totally worth it in my opinion.

I would have liked to see an additional tier that matches the corporate plan rather than only offering the “optimum” option, but I understand they want to keep things under control.

I've tested many website translation tools, and ConveyThis is definitely among the top. For functionality alone, it's a solid 5 out of 5. The automatic translation works great, the integrations are smooth (especially with WordPress), and the overall performance is excellent. It’s fast, efficient, and doesn’t slow down your site like older tools such as WPML.

That said, ConveyThis is not perfect. Compared to Weglot, the dashboard feels a bit less refined – not as modern or user-friendly. The language switcher, while functional, lacks some of the design flexibility and customization options that Weglot offers. If you care a lot about UI polish and a slick experience, you might notice the difference.

Still, in terms of pure performance and features, ConveyThis holds up well. It's a reliable and cost-effective solution that I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to translate their WordPress website without bloating it with heavy plugins.

We used ConveyThis Tier 5 on a larger client site. It was easy to use, and the translation was good. ROI is insane. Thanks! We might buy an additional T5 for some of our smaller projects.
