Hey everyone. It's amazing. Dan is back on AppSumo a very short time. You are all incredibly lucky to have a shot at this deal. Uh, Dan has been an absolute, uh, video recording game changer, uh, for me, and easily one of the best investments I've made for my business. Um, as everybody knows, in today's crazy fast-paced world, sending, um, quick, clear videos is no longer a luxury. It's, it's critical for your, uh, efficiency and just a super way to differentiate yourself away from your competition, uh, along with saving yourself time with typing out lengthy emails. Um, I'll tell you, uh, it really does give a distinct advantage to you and your business. Um, what truly sets Dan apart, in my opinion, is how fast they incorporate new features, how they're constantly squishing all the software bugs that are inevitable. They incorporate just all the, uh, thoughts that you have into producing a product that's really strong. And their, their tech support team is super, uh, super on their, on their game. Anyway, uh, buy this before it disappears. You will not be sorry.

I purchased Dadan to find an alternative way to host videos, add subtitles, etc.

Not only did it deliver on this (it is fast, and very easy to use), the team added many features which really improve the experience. Lastly, they added a 'local' recorder, which literally saved the day.

Can't wait to see what's next with this team.

Dadan shows promise as a capable screen recorder, and I really like its powerful video editor, which also provides the ability to add captions, interactions (polls, quizzes, ratings, etc.), allows you to collect leads, and even add CTAs.

However, it has some critical bugs. I've been using it for a little less than a year, and there are two main issues that remain unresolved after I reported them to the Dadan support team:

1) The Chrome extension appears to have a problem when recordings are paused and resumed in the same session. In this scenario, it leads to the recording being stuck in the processing step for a long time before finally generating an error without any final published recording.

2) The desktop app selects the wrong monitor when multiple displays are connected, even when the correct source is selected before recording. This prevents me from being able to use the desktop app.

The only platform version that seems to work properly is the regular browser version. Even though it is not as convenient as the extension or the desktop app, the browser version contains the same main features. My other obvious complaint is that their support team drags their feet in addressing these issues, which is not very encouraging.

While Dadan shows a lot of potential as a Loom alternative, it isn't quite as reliable as I would like. However, I am happy to update my rating once these issues are resolved.

I love dadan. I run an online academy and videos are important to us. Dadan has been the best investment we made this year. If you want to grow on youtube but don't want to go through the difficulties of recording, storage, edit, publish., I recomend Dadan. You can record, make edits, upload directly to youtube. And their latest update allows you to edit videos with captions, which is super useful and easy to edit the video

I have been using Dadan in my team for over six months now, and I am completely happy with their support, their product, how it works, and how they listen to my feedback and implement customer suggestions into the product.

The product works fine, although it had a few bugs in the very beginning, but they sorted them all out. They are not like the "cash grab" people who just launch a product, take the money, and leave it to catch dust. Instead, they worked actively, resolved many bugs, and are still improving it day by day. I would say it has been a great investment.

I am not someone who usually writes reviews for products here, but this one really made me want to do so. I have a little suggestion for the team: if you guys could create a public roadmap for the product, it would allow for a public voting system and create a proper direction for the product development.
