Dart is praised for its intuitive platform, AI collaboration, and efficient task planning. However, some users have noted limited mobile app parity and offline support as minor drawbacks. With an overall rating of 4.6 and a 60-day money-back guarantee, Dart is worth considering for seamless project management.

Completely disappointed

They "sold" it to me as the Clickup system, and it is still very green.

In calendar views you cannot see all the tasks of the day at a glance, so you cannot evaluate the daily load in order to compensate it weekly.
There is also no way to distinguish the projects, since only the task name is visible.

There is no possibility to create folders within projects.
Project tasks are not visible in the sidebar.
Numerical addition fields "invent" the results...
Only accepts $ as currency...

Among many other deficiencies and operating errors.
I'm going to exhaust the return period, but, with what I've seen so far, I would return it right now.

Thanks for the honest review. To be clear, we aren't trying to be ClickUp; we aim to be a strictly simpler alternative. If you’re looking for a heavy-duty 'everything app,' a more complex tool might actually be the better fit for you. That said, last week we discussed your feedback on the calendar and sidebar views internally to help us improve.

I’m really curious about the numerical fields...

Really great task manager

I didn’t really know what I was expecting when I found Dart. Coming from TickTick and Todoist I was familiar with task managers and liked how they worked. Dart is similar in some ways but significantly more advanced in others. It’s obviously under active development, which is great.

One of the things that strikes me is just how flexible the UI is. I can customize most everything, including setting any number of different statuses for each task.

There’s a few differences that I’m still getting used to:
1. The mobile app is awesome but has some quirks and clearly isn’t up to parity with the web app. Still, I’m impressed there’s a mobile app!
2. There doesn’t appear to be any offline support. On mobile this would be great.
3. It’s incredibly flexible but with that comes some complication. I haven’t found it as easy as some of the other managers to just “add a task” or “complete a task”. These tasks require a number of taps when imho they should be a single tap away.

Overall it’s an amazing service with a great price. Highly recommended.

Thanks so much for the high recommendation and for highlighting the flexibility of our UI! We really appreciate your constructive notes regarding mobile parity, offline support, and reducing the taps needed for basic actions, we are actively looking into improvements for all of these specific areas. We would love to hear any other thoughts you have as we continue to develop Dart, so please keep...

Good Project Mgmt. App but needs improvement

My review of Dart AI - Good app for managing multiple projects but has some limitations:

1. 40 user limit: Since I can use multiple projects (dartboards), I may have various team members as part of that project. I can see number of teammates quickly increasing to 40 in just 3-4 projects.

2. Access Management: Currently, AppSumo plans do not allow to modify access to Member roles. This means that any member can invite other members (using up the teammate quota). Workaround is to set the role as Guest but that also limits many functionalities and is not ideal.

3. Start Date: I had to enable that under Properties but should be enabled by default as any PM software does. The duration is calculated incorrectly. For example: there are 5 days between Dec 15-19 but Dart shows 4 days because Dart calculates “duration” as end date minus start date, which is exclusive of the end date. MS Project counts this as 5 days with 8 hour days. Dart should give ability to use standard calendar and ability to add non-working days like holidays/weekends. Currently this is not supported.

4. Would be nice to have ability to upload documents instead of just having external link to docs. Not a deal breaker.

5. Ability to White Label and have a end user/client facing portal for each project

Thanks for the solid breakdown. We really appreciate the detailed feedback on the user limits and permission roles--we're definitely looking into how to make those scale better for growing teams. You make a great point about the calendar logic and holidays vs. standard PM tools, so we're looking into tightening that up. Quick note on #4: we actually do support native file attachments in docs/tasks...

The best UI/UX for project management

As someone who has tried numerous project management platforms (all of them with AI features), I can say Dart is easier to understand and use. from getting started to learning how to use it (the interface is clean, logical, and you can feel the difference upgrading your productivity in minutes without any confusion)

It feels like the complete package. and the ability to automate routine tasks alone is worth your money... Highly recommended

I Love This Planning Tool

I have 30+ years of processionally using project management tool. From mainframe to current agile tools. There is always a balance between complexity/ configuration and productivity. DartAI seems to have found the sweet spot. Not a lot of visual clutter but if you want to drill down and use AI to accelerate your work and planning, the tools are there. If you want to keep it basic you can do that as well. Watch the YouTube videos to get an idea. There is definitely room for refinement. I’m having struggles with the MCP and Cursor. My current use case is sending high level tasks from Cursor planning files to Dart and then updating them from Cursor and the MCP APIs are missing some critical methods. My other wish would be more detailed and frequent changelogs. The founders are very active on their support Discord. I haven’t been this excited about a project management tool in a decade.

This means the world coming from an industry vet! We are thrilled we hit that 'sweet spot' between simplicity and power for you.

We hear you loud and clear on the MCP and Cursor integration. We are actively working to flesh out those missing API methods to smooth out that workflow. We’ll also step up our game on the changelogs so you aren't guessing what shipped.

Thanks for being active in the...
