Does the AppSumo lifetime deal include or exempt the monthly 50-credit per channel fee, or are these infrastructure costs still charged separately?

Channel Connections
Each connected channel costs 50 credits per month ($5.00). This applies to:
Phone numbers (Twilio)
WhatsApp Web connections
Instagram connections
Facebook Messenger connections
This is an infrastructure fee that covers messaging delivery costs and is charged regardless of usage.
AI Tool Usage
When the AI uses tools during a conversation (such as booking an appointment, checking availability, performing a web search, or executing a custom function), each tool call costs 1 credit.
(That makes 15USD for 3 channels 8monthly plus credits for AI usage.)

Apr 21, 2026A: Hey, there is no exemption, but AppSumo users do have the ability to bring their own API key for AI. To give you some clarification, there might be some outdated inaccuracies in the help documents, so these are the actual costs:
1. WhatsApp Web
It is a 50 credits per month fee, which at our normal credit pricing is $5.00. For this, you get a private proxy and private server so your number stays safe.
2. Phone Numbers
Twilio charges us for these, and we simply pass those costs on to you with no markup. Twilio also charges delivery fees of 0.05 credits ($0.005), which we pass on as well.
3. Social Media Connections
Instagram and Facebook Messenger connections are both free because we have a direct partnership with Meta.
4. AI Tool Usage
Using the built-in tool costs one credit. However, by bringing your own API key, the AI is about 40-80% cheaper. We recommend doing that and just using the credits for infra costs.
And if you go with the WhatsApp API, you also need to pay for the WhatsApp templates fees from Meta, which we also just pass on without a markup.
