Q: Upload project folder and some files (project not using github) -> Add some context -> Get documentation
Would it be possible to upload my upload my project files, give it some context (this file does this, this file does that, etc) and have documentation.ai work its magic?
#1 In Tier 4 Does it mean you acquire 3 Organizations with each organization having 10 Sites? #2 Does each Organization get 1000 AI tokens every month? #3 Are the Tokens a one time allowance or do they repeat monthly? #4 Do you have a plan to keep the Appsumo LTD's viable if you get acquired?
I notice on the PLAN pricing section, you state "500 credits per org" and that can be spread across 4 websites - so if we're only using your software with 1 website, all 500 credits would be allocated towards that website, yes?
And if we were to have 2 websites, the 500 credits would be allocated on a per usage basis between the 2 sites - IE perhaps 4,300 on one website and 700 on the other or maybe 1,400 on one and 3,600 on the other etc etc, as opposed to an equal split of 2,500 on each website?

A: Yes, that’s correct. Credits are shared at the organization level, not allocated equally per website.
So if you are using only 1 website, the full credit pool can be used there. If you have 2 or more websites, they will consume credits from the same shared pool based on usage.
For example, one site can use more credits than another depending on how much it is used — it is not split evenly...
For navigation i vote for a hierarchical one, ie a treeview like Notion, like an explorer manager etc
Introducing a system to learn and memorize would make the difference, the flashcards along repetition spaced out over time is probably the most used approach these days for that goal.
Any plan for mobile app?

A: Hi, Documentation.AI is primarily focused on publishing product documentation and internal company SOPs. At least for now, we are not positioning it as a like-for-like replacement for note-taking apps.
Documentation.ai looks to be a very powerful tool ! Before pushing the buy button, could you let me know if, as I have a github repo for my app, I can generate the documentation of my app using documentation.ai ? If it's possible, have you got à tutorial for this ?

A: Hi Chris, Are you looking to generate user-facing documentation or internal code walkthrough documentation? The current agent cannot handle long-running tasks, but we are adding background agents, which should be live next week. They will be able to generate full documentation by analyzing the codebase in one go.
Interesting ! My main goal would be to generate user facing documentation, indeed. The background agents could be the way to go ! So, I could provide Documentation.ai with my source code repo from github, and it will analyze the code and generate the docs ? I believe I will have to prépare the structure of the doc first, right ? I mean "one doc page for this feature, one doc page for user roles.."
Yes, once the background agent is ready, you can instruct what sections you want etc, then it will create a plan and it will execute after you approve it.
For user facing documentation, there are few things you would require mantual intervention such as screenshots, or step by steps that are not obvious in the code. As agent cant navigate your product yet like a human does(this is in roadmap)

Yes, you can connect your git and once connected, we use your repo as a source. Any changes will be published automatically.
