Q: Love the tool, but Tier 2 project limits are a "buy-block" for solopreneurs

Hi Ajay! I’ve been following Dreamlit and I’m 50% through building my first course, with 3 more ventures in the pipeline.

I really want to jump in, but I’m struggling with the Tier 2 logic. Since 1 Project = 1 Database, having Tier 2 restricted to only 1 project (same as Tier 1) makes it hard to justify the upgrade when I have multiple small-scale ventures.

Most solopreneurs manage 2–4 projects....

A: Thanks for the note, and I’m really glad you’ve been following along.

On the AppSumo LTDs, we intentionally priced Tier 1/2 as heavily discounted starter tiers, so the project limits are part of what keeps those tiers such a steal. If you’re planning to run 2–4 projects/apps, Tier 3 is the intended fit — and candidly it’s still an excellent deal compared to the roughly equivalent Pro plan...

Q: Project volume vs Supabase databases

I’m a solo consultant who is launching about 3 different online courses (music, English, finance basics).

Therefore I will have 3 separate Supabase databases, under my same account.

Requirement: students of ‘music’ course shouldn’t be mixed with students of ‘finance’ course when they receive email newsletters. That would be confusing for them, and would be unprofessional.

In this scenario, how...

A: 1 project corresponds to 1 Supabase database. You can only connect 1 database per project in Dreamlit.

If you have 3 Supabase databases, it's 3 Dreamlit projects.

Q: Does Dreamlit support SMTP email, or is it only accessible via the PostgreSQL database?

A: Dreamlit does not have an API or SMTP layer - it's an automation layer that sits on top and abstracts away the need for those configs in the first place.

All you need is your data sitting in your PostgresSQL database, and you can simply chat with the AI to send any emails you want.

Q: Shopify?

I am on shopify with their apps. How easy would it be to use this instead and is it better?

A: Hey there thanks for the question. We currently don't have a native integration with Shopify, though it's on our roadmap to revisit as we get this question a lot. Of course if you're able to sync your data to a Supabase or Postgres db, you can certainly use Dreamlit to setup all of your email workflows. Can you help me understand your use case here as we continue to plan our roadmap?

Q: Set up to replace current ESP

Hi! Not a coder/thought I was pretty tech-capable until I started reading this listing and Q&A, but can’t figure this out. My question: Can I use Dreamlit in place of my Kajabi mail platform? Can it receive contact info from forms, allow me to add tags, etc?

I am desperate for a better interface than I have but cannot tell how this would work in place of a small business email service provider that is not coding apps. If this is possible, is there set up instructions?

A: Dreamlit isn’t a CRM or contact database like Kajabi. It doesn’t store your contacts, tags, or form submissions.

Instead, Dreamlit sits on top of your existing data store (Postgres or Supabase) and lets you set up outbound email workflows using the data you already have there:

- send automated emails when something happens in your app (signup, purchase, lesson completed, etc.)
- send one-off...
