Hi there, I have a couple of questions regarding this product.
I plan to use it only for small‑scale needs such as transactional emails. Am I also allowed to send light promotional emails, for example reminders when something is about to expire? Does the TOS allow that?
On a related note, is it acceptable to send review request emails as well?
I’ve seen some users mention getting banned on Emailit, so I’d like to better understand the scope of what is allowed versus what is not.

Sure, you can send transactional emails. As well as promotional, for those you have to have a valid consent from the recipients (aligned with GDPR and CAN-SPAM).
Suspensions you mention are only for serious rules break of our Acceptable Use Policies.
In most cases if you would do something not allowed you would be asked to fix it and to prevent it from happening in the future.
