Q: What are the differences between your product and AWS SES?

Without considering the management interface, just from the API point of view, what are the differences between your product and AWS SES?

A: Hey there,

We provide same options as Amazon SES, Email API with Rest API and SMTP. On top of that we provide also marketing features like campaigns.

We might lack some documentations or some specific features but we are working on those, based on our customers feedback.

But in price comparison you are 2x more expensive than Amazon SES.

🤔
Have you thought that your price list in the case of credits would be more profitable❓

Depends on the number of credits. You can also get as low as the same price as Amazon SES. So not really twice as expensive. And there are also more fees included with a bandwidth of attachments on Amazon SES that we do not have.

We also tend to provide much better support and can work with you to optimize your delivery.

Not really possible to achieve.
🤔
I would have to send 5,000,000 Emails and spend $500 to reach that price with you.

Not really, those credits last forever, and it is a bundle, so you can buy the biggest bundle for $500 and have 5mil email credits to use. You are not forced to send them and then pay. You can use those credits within the next ten years if you want to.

We believe in commitments, the reputation od domains and IPs are built, and we don't want customers to randomly change platforms for different pricing. So we introduced Pay-for-emails, to allow users to commit to our platform and in doing so get the best price.

Does the price drop with the purchase of subsequent credits❓
🤔
That is, if I buy 5x1M, then the sixth time I buy 1M I will have the price per 1 e-mail as in the 5M package.

No, it's a bundle price, you get the price for the amount you buy at the time.

I imagine sumolings love to support David vs Goliath like AWS. Many more sumolings would have picked up Tier 5 (1M emails) at $250 vs the currently scaling price from $29, $49, $149, $299, $399

I mean it also needs to be viable, at $399 you can send up to 1m emails a month. That you simply can't compare to $1 per 10 000.

We are not targeting to be a cheap solution. We run and do everything ourselves to ensure the best reputation and deliverability for our customers. We have even our own Datacenter for it.

I don't think you will find a better value on the market for now with this LTD.
