Q: Hi,
Is there a way to make a task's checklist items rearrangeable?
Use Case: I have a task, create a checklist, and brainstorm all the steps needed to complete the task. I added 10 steps, after which I realize I forgot a step between 3 and 4.
Thanks for reaching out and for explaining the use case!
I'm afraid that we cannot re-arrange the items' order on the checklist at the moment, so it would need to be done manually. I've just added this feature to our feature request list, which can be found here: https://app.excelway.co/access/2/beta/MBVrYo
Let me know if there is anything we can help with :)
Q: Hi,
is there a way to make tags persistent with the item/task?
ie include it in the metadata as the task is moved from workshop to a board (s). my use case: I hold a workshop - item is tagged. Item is turned into a task and moved to a board and processed.
Your feedback and use case makes a lot of sense and is consistent with other feedback received.
Therefore I've just added the new feature to our roadmap and we will try to get it done in the coming months, along with other significant new features such as designing an activity template from scratch, the ExcelWay mobile app, and the customized fields in tasks.
We're currently doing the preliminary work to start developing the custom fields (requiring a total change of data architecture) so that should be in the developing pipe pretty soon :).
ExcelWay is not yet embeddable in MS. Teams or Zoom, although it is a project we started working on. We put it on hold because we had negative or neutral feedback from people using similar tools inside Zoom.
Could you please tell me more about the value of such a feature would bring in your brainstorming sessions?
Using MS Teams as an example, I was thinking of how it would be good to add ExcelWay as a tab in the channel (Website as the app, enter URL to an ExcelWay project I suppose), making it easy to access ExcelWay, and possibly increase engagement.
That's what I had in mind when asking the question :)
All the best! Sri
Q: Hello,
I have purchased tier 3 deal and I received a 'notice' pop-up that we had reached the organization's limit of members & projects...
when I thought both were unlimited in that deal. This was when a 'member' was adding a board... so, that brings me to the following question.
The question I have is to clarify what a 'member' is allowed to do in the account. Can they create boards etc. or are they somehow just a glorified visitor... Since they need to create their own account at ExcelWay, are they limited in what they can do within our 'shared space' ?? (If so, please explain those limits). Thank You!
If you activated Tier 3, you shouldn’t have any limit on members and projects. Please reach out to our support team in the embedded chat (help button at the top left of your screen) or by email (support @excelway.co), so we can analyze and fix the situation ASAP for you.

Thank you.
Q: Hi Sophia, ExcelWay almost got away without even me realising it!
Question: Is it possible to embed ExcelWay in MS Teams OR another website/app?
Thanks and all the best to you and the ExcelWay team!
