Hi, I have just had a look at their Terms page and there is a paragraph specific to the AS deal.
It says that there is no pre-defined expiration date - the AS deal terms being different to their own model.
You can view Terms on https://www.eyeson.com/terms-of-service/
Q: Hello,
your product looks well.
Some reviews are a little bit deterrent, especially where I can find infroamtion about poor video quality which is really important. Before I buy it I would like to get answer to some my questions :) 1. Do you plan to add the functionality of "breakout rooms" as Zoom has got? I'm looking for the tool that works constantly and with high quality, but also that I could do group or pair work during the workshops. E.g. I have a training and I would like to share people for two different groups at the same time and I would like to put them virtually in that rooms without new links or something like that. 2. Is it possible to unmute some people or all of them?
A: We are currently experiencing a massive influx of new requests in our support channel, which is why we want to apologize for any delayed response and hope for your understanding!
Regarding your first question- yes, when you are sharing a PDF or image, you can utilize a toolbar that can be found on the lower right corner of the screen. With the pencil, you have the option to mark and write things on the image/PDF in different colors. For more information on this, please visit our help center article linked below!
Regarding webinars- eyeson is great for remote teams, large teams and freelancers, but we may not be the best tool for someone who wants to exclusively use our webinar features. We offer broadcasting and recording, but these are mainly to support and enhance your video meetings. After all, each video meeting allows up 100 people. For information on setting up a webinar room, if you want to test it out yourself, please visit the link below.
Q: Zoom meetings has failed me tonight, so I am looking for alternatives.
Zoom meetings has a feature where I can go full screen, so a single person is shown, but the second one of the other persons in the meeting speaks the view automatically switches to the person who speaks.
I saw on the webinar recording that eyeson is able to show the name of the speaker as a kind of lower third, but is it possible to switch the view automatically to the person who speaks?
And are you considering RTMP streams as well as youtube and facebook?
We actually just recently integrated RTMP streams as well for YouTube and Facebook! (and many more platforms)..
Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to automatically switch to the full view of the speaker, but you can always change the layout manually if there is a speaker or speaker panel!
I hope that helps! You can always start a free trial to see if you want to give us a try!
But the layout switcher is not fast enough to operate while you are in a meeting, so I hope that sometimes in the future you will consider to implement the automatic fetaure the speaker view, like zoom has.
I mean you already have the technology since you are able to mark the speaker in a lower third. So auto switching the layout to the speaker would be cool.
But so far the product looks and feels nice.
Q: Any possibilty of accessing your api with this deal?
Yes, we offer full access for developers to use our API and build custom solutions. To find out more, please visit our developer site at: https://www.eyeson.com/developers/
A: Great question! Essentially yes, both a host and a member need to be License Holders.
The differences are subtle. For example, a host is the creator of a room. Therefore, he or she is the only person who can delete the room/ edit the room settings. Moreover, the host can decide if live streaming, recording, layout settings and video reactions are activated or not. If the host invites another licensed person to the room, he or she becomes a member of that room.
Let us know if this is clear, and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out!
A: Are you talking about sharing your screen or sharing a PDF/image during a group video call with eyeson? Cool, then eyeson represents the perfect solution for you. You can easily share your screen with other participants. In case you are talking about controlling a mouse of a person, then we do not provide this feature yet.
Would it be possible to hold 2 separate meetings & have 2 windows displayed on my big PC monitor at the same time? But no audio, at the most screen sharing.
A: Great question, with eyeson, you can be as ambitious as you want! You can join multiple meetings and webinars (with the same user) simultaneously. All you'll need to do is manage your local CAM / MIC access when you do so.
For more information on this, please visit our help center: https://help.eyeson.com/eyeson-room/en/articles/2081590-does-eyeson-allow-multiple-meetings-and-webinars-at-the-same-time
A: Currently, there is no public roadmap available, just internal. However, we encourage users to share feedback for consideration, as we are always looking for ways to improve, and we love to hear your experiences!
Recently we created a new way how you can live stream with eyeson to different stream providers (restream as well). In order to create the broadcast you just need to copy the RTMP URL and the Stream Key and paste them into the Livestream Dialog window in the eyeson video call. Choose Livestream, enter the values and press start. For further guidance, please, check this help article: https://help.eyeson.com/eyeson-room/en/articles/3902089-live-streaming-with-eyeson
A: Your clients will not need to create accounts before joining your meetings, which is a feature that makes getting started with eyeson quite easy! All they need is a browser (see more information below at the link). No software installation is required.
Please let us know if you have any further questions!
To address your question, in our layout settings, you can manually define whose video is visible. Kindly note, up to 9 people can be visible on screen at a time. However, depending on your preference, this view can be changed to 1, 2, or 4 videos being displayed.
For further insight into adjusting your layout, please refer to the below article.
A: For the first 14-days, some new users might see the display of a free trial, but this view will go away and does not affect your license.
The added host will not be charged once her 'trial period' is over. After the 14-days she will be moved to your license, for free. Kindly note, with our trials, there is no credit card information needed for activation.
Should you have any further questions, or need support, please do not hesitate to contact us!
Q: Hi, its looks like the dev is on hold from 2017.
1. Do you have roadmap? 2. Do you have changelog? 3. If 1+2 is no answer, do you plan to improve the video quality? 4. When i share a screen and try to present video.. the sound not pass from my computer. Can you tell me if its limitation?
We were wondering if you can have more than 9 faces in the grid? We have more on our team but it didn't seem like we could get everyone in the grid. How does the face grid work? If not, do you have plans to expand the grid to allow more people's video to be seen?
Q: Hi, I am interested to buy and I have the following questions:
1) LinkedIn live stream - is it on the road map?
2) How many paid users do you have now? 3) File format it saves for recording? What is the capacity for storage? Any expiry? 4) Can I use it for group meetings of 80 for presentation? 5) Can I draw or point on my PDF or images for presentation? 6) You mention earlier it's not meant for webinar - how is that and what are it's limited capabilities?
Q: Hi I am new to this, can you record only instead of live meeting, if so where are the recorded files that I t ...
think I recorded with sharing screen. I been looking for Youtube Vloggin software. I hope I can use this.

Q: I like the idea that I can have a one-to-one meeting and the other participant can "draw" on the presentation.
Good for "show me where" type questions!
When the meeting is over, is there a way to direct the other participant to a specific URL? Apologies if this has been asked before...
Many thanks

Q: Hello Shany, Is this appsumo deal really a lifetime deal of a 5 years deal?
It was mentioned in some comments 3 years and then lifetime, and finally I've seen it was mentioned as a 5 year deal.
Thank you,
