Flat Icons - 32,000+ icons (2D, 3D, and Animated) Reviews

Essential for this product is web app (https://webapp.flat-icons.com/) which can't be logged in for a few months already. Otherwise you will have to download a few GB of files which is hard to handle and search through. Even there is a constant answer from their support that web app will start working again, it doesn't happen. I just can't login in the web app anymore. Of course I also tried with lost password etc. but nothing works then just getting notive: "Internal Server Error. Please try again later or contact support.". Because of that, the product is from my poitn of view, not worth more than one taco.

This is NOT flaticons.com or their companies but a cheap imitation. It is also not returnable for a refund. Buyer beware. Posting is also misleading: Lifetime access to Flat Icons - 30,000+ icons (2D, 3D, and Animated) is not accurate. you can download this (as you could any number of free sites out there) but get 2 downloads per day otherwise.

They're icons, right? How hard can it be?

Unfortunately, flat-icons made it hard. I should have listened to other reviews—the search function stinks. And rather than have individual icons, everything is all bundled. While that is cool in some instances, if you're searching for a particular icon and the search results show these bundles where you can't even see the icon that you're looking for ... well it pretty much sucks.

And if you're looking for a set of those standard black and white icons for menus, buttons, etc., as far as I can tell, they don't exist on flat-icons.

The final nail in the coffin: this deal is non-refundable. I found that out the hard way. I would have NEVER bought it if I had known it wasn't refundable. That's one of the good things about AppSumo, except for that rare instance when the deal isn't. AppSumo ... you guys are web wizards ... there MUST BE an easy way for you to draw more attention to deals that aren't refundable either on the offer or at checkout. Seriously, it's not that hard.

There's my 2 cents. I completely wasted money on something I will never use again because this tool is neither simple nor easy to use.

Good selection of icons across, nice division into various verticals.
Surely you can find something to use on the platform and use it.
It does the job you need.

It would be nice to search after specific icons within an icon set, eg. a Radar, I didn't get a single match. I did find an option that worked, by exploring, not searching.
It feels odd to me that diversity with a variation in a single colour element on character goes from 1 icon to becoming 5 icons (this is not true for all icon packs, most packs include file types allowing you to alter at need).

If I were to include the AppSumo deal experience, it would have been easy for me to give 1 or 2 only.
Would I recommend, based on my experience, to a friend? Nah....

Unfortunately very standart stuff that you might use once or twice, but there are better alternatives at every corner with a good yearly rate. I would have refunded it if I had the option.
Keep in mind that it's still a solid invesment if you don't need fresh content.
