Hi, I’m a freelance designer and I’m trying to determine whether the Tier 1 plan would be sufficient for my needs, but I’d like to be sure. Could you clarify what “shared personas,” “pooled credits across teams,” and can you define credit usage?
Additionally, what are the exact differences between these LTD tiers and the plans available on your website? Do LTD users also receive lifetime updates and access to new features?

Credit Usage: Each feature you use on Floto consumes a fixed number of credits, currently these are:
Design Audit – 20 credits per audit
Design Diff – 25 credits per comparison
Persona Testing – 50 credits per test
Flow Testing – 75 credits per flow
Shared Personas and Pooled Credits are team-based features:
- Shared Personas means AI personas created by anyone on your team can be reused by everyone in the workspace, so you don't have to recreate them.
- Pooled Credits means all credits belong to the team rather than individual users. Any team member can use them, and everyone draws from the same shared credit pool.
For a freelance designer, Tier 1 is a solid starting point since you do not need to share credits with a team or need collaboration features. We also have the ability for you to purchase top-up credits as you need them if you are running over the monthly allocation for the Tier 1 plan. This will depend on volume and type of usage you end up with for your projects.
There are no functional differences between LTD and plans on our websites - except that the Appsumo LTD is an amazingly good deal :) LTD users will have access to new features as we continue to add them to the platform, including to our Figma plugin and Chrome extension (which we are actively working to enhance with more functionality).
