Which types of custom fields can I use?
Are there any limitations at all to the number of fields, including custom fields?
Is Danish language supported?
Is DKK supported as currency?
Do you support Danish number formatting like 1.234.567,89?
Is Fluid CRM role-based, so I can limit employees to their own data/sections, while admins can see and do everything?
Can employees have view-only access when looking at data from other employees?
How often is data backed up?
Is it possible to download backups locally?
Can data be transferred easily from one employee to another?
Can Fluid CRM be configured so all employees can see everything, but only edit, move, delete or manage their own assigned data?
Can I prevent employees from deleting deals, contacts, notes, activities, files and pipelines? Maybe just have them archiving them.

Jun 11, 2026A: Hey, thanks for the thorough questions! Short answers below.
Custom fields: Text, number, URL, and date types. No dropdown yet. No hard cap on the number of fields.
Danish: Interface is English only, but your data (deals, contacts, notes) can be in Danish. DKK is supported with Danish number formatting (1.234.567,89).
Transferring data between employees: Yes, reassign deals and contacts with bulk edit.
Backups: Our database is backed up daily for disaster recovery. These are system-wide, so we can't restore data for a single user. For your own local copy, export deals and contacts as CSV anytime.
Roles and permissions: Fluid has two roles at the moment, Owner and Member. Members can be limited to specific pipelines, but within those they edit shared data. No view-only role, no "edit only your own" mode, no delete-blocking (you can't delete others deals by default though) or archive-instead-of-delete. If granular permissions are a must-have, Fluid isn't there today. However great recommendations and ideas that I backlogged!
