When I first purchased this application, it was great because we could use our own API at no additional cost. It provided us with flexibility and control, which was a big draw for me. However, now it seems that LEVEL 10 customers are required to pay for API access. I’m curious about the reasoning behind this significant change. It feels quite restrictive compared to what was initially offered. I wonder whether this shift is driven by business decisions to increase revenue or by other factors we aren’t fully aware of. It’s quite frustrating!

Jun 8, 2026A: I think there may be some confusion here. We never offered API access as part of the original LTD.
What we did introduce was BYOK at no additional cost, allowing users to connect their own AI providers, and more recently Import from CSV, which lets all tiers schedule content at scale without using a single AI credit.
Regarding API access, that's valuable feedback and something we can certainly evaluate for the future. But as far as I'm aware, API access was never included in the original Followr LTD offering.

Why, at 1st Level 10 customers, have they been able to enter their own API, but now we have to pay $99.00 per month for something we had the BYOK option? Sounds like a problem!
Ok so this is about BYOK, not the API. BYOK is still fully available to you at no extra cost — nothing’s been taken away. You just need to keep your provider credits funded, like before.
The $99 is optional and per year (not per month). It’s only for users who’d rather skip BYOK and have us handle access to some of the pricier models instead.
