Instagram actually just added native scheduling for Trial Reels in 2026 but the catch is that the Trial toggle still isn’t exposed through Meta’s API for third-party tools. It’s app-native only. So right now, no scheduler can do it, not just followr.
We’ve already seen the feature and it’s on our radar. As soon as Meta opens it up to the API, we’ll build it in.
In the meantime, one thing we’re advanced to add is AI hook suggestions when you’re creating Reels so you get ideas for strong openers based on your niche and goal.
That works for both regular and Trial Reels and is something that can genuinely move the needle while we wait on Meta’s end.
hi marcos, i thought it was something "exclusive" as well, but recently got postiz through appsumo, and it already has the trial reels scheduling, so maybe it's already on meta api for third party tools
