Followr has received high praise for its efficient scheduling, AI content generation, and user-friendly interface. While there have been occasional glitches and minor bugs, the overall positive feedback outweighs these minor issues. Followr is a solid choice for those seeking a white-labeled AI-powered platform for social media management, especially considering the 60-day money-back guarantee.

My Review of Followr (After 6+ Months on the Highest Tier)
I’ve been using Followr for a little over six months, and I even bought the highest-tier plan for the white-label features. I really tried to give the platform a fair chance, but at this point I’m honestly disappointed.
From the start, I ran into several issues.. slow support on occasion, publishing failures, glitches, but I assumed things would improve over time. Unfortunately, they didn’t.
1. Publishing is unreliable (and yes, I lost clients because of this).
The same posting issues others here have mentioned?
I’ve been dealing with them too.. constantly.
Followr often fails to publish scheduled posts, and having to reconnect social accounts every time something fails defeats the entire purpose of using a scheduler. I’ve used many other tools over the years, and while occasional API hiccups happen, it has never been this frequent.
These failures directly caused issues with client expectations… and I actually lost clients because content didn’t go out when it was supposed to. That’s on me for trusting the platform, but also on them for promising reliability.
2. I wasted hours troubleshooting instead of working.
Instead of doing client work, I spent way too much time reconnecting accounts, checking failed posts, re-uploading content, messaging support, trying again and again
That adds up. And for an agency or freelancer, time lost = money lost.
3. The new AI features are mostly paywalled.
This is one of the most disappointing parts.
Even after buying the highest-tier plan, a huge portion of the flashy new AI tools are now locked behind extra fees. I get that token costs are real, but the pricing doesn’t feel fair.. especially when I even connected my own API keys and still couldn’t access most models without upgrading.
At this point, about 50% of the “new features” are blocked unless you pay more.
4. AppSumo users feel like “cheap leads” for upsells.
This is honestly what it feels like now.
A lifetime deal should not turn into “pay more if you want the features we advertised later.”
If this had been transparent from the start, fine.. but adding upsells after people invest the highest plan feels wrong.
5. Analytics were promised, but never delivered.
I asked about analytics early on because it was a huge missing piece.
They said they were working on it, possibly even with AI-powered insights.
Months later?
Still nothing.
And now I can safely assume that if analytics ever arrive, it will be extremely limited or yet another paid add-on.
Bottom Line
I really wanted this platform to succeed.
I was patient. I invested money, time, and trust into it.
But the combination of unreliable posting, constant reconnections, lack of promised features, and aggressive upsells makes it impossible for me to rely on Followr anymore.
At this point, I can’t recommend it.

Zero tacos. I DEMAND MY MONEY BACK
Nothing works. You took hundreds of dollars from me, and so far I haven´t been able to post anything. I´m very well versed with social media tools. This SIMPLY IS JUNK. It´s easier to just use the FREE versions of Buffer with Metricool to have access to all social media. Or use Marky or Sociamonials. THEY AT LEAST CAN POST SOMETHING; ANYTHING.
This is a classic example of potential deceptive business practices:
Misrepresentation & Breach of Contract: Removing paid features and changing the terms post-purchase may violate U.S. consumer protection laws like the FTC Act (15 U.S.C. §§ 41-58), which prohibits unfair or deceptive acts in commerce.
False Advertising: Marketing features to secure a sale, then later removing them, could be considered false or misleading advertising under U.S. law, as well as under the U.K. Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 and the EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive (2005/29/EC).
Unfair Terms: In the U.K. and EU, downgrading purchased goods/services significantly post-purchase can violate laws against unfair contract terms (Consumer Rights Act 2015, EU Directive 93/13/EEC).
Possible Fraud: If it can be proven that the founders never intended to honor the deal, this may rise to the level of fraud under various jurisdictions.
Fake Reviews: If 5-taco (star) reviews are fabricated or incentivized to mask legitimate complaints, this breaches U.S. FTC endorsement guidelines and similar provisions in the U.K. and EU regulations.
Summary:
If you value your rights as a consumer, be very wary. My experience and many others’ complaints indicate serious disregard for the law and customer trust. I encourage AppSumo and authorities to investigate these practices and urge potential buyers to avoid this company and its founders based on these deceptive actions.
PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO MY REVIEW WITH GASLIGHTING. PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND AT ALL. I DON´T WANT TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT FOLLOWR EVER AGAIN.

Dec 1, 2025I understand your frustration, but your message contains claims that are simply not accurate.
Followr processes over 8,000 posts every single day through our API — often even more — across thousands of companies. The platform is working normally, and the error you encountered (“Media ID is not available”) is a Meta API error, not a Followr malfunction.
This specific issue happens when Meta...

Core Publishing Feature Is Completely Broken—Extra Features Are Pointless Junk!
As a long-term paying user of Appsumo, I almost never leave negative reviews for any product—even if there are minor flaws, I’m willing to give developers room to improve. But Followr’s performance has crossed the line of “tolerable,” forcing me to complain publicly!
Followr’s core positioning is “publishing schedule management,” yet its most basic multi-platform publishing function is abysmally bad! Every time I carefully plan a publishing schedule, 1-3 platforms will inevitably fail to post, with a failure rate that’s outrageously high! I want to ask the development team: What’s the point of rushing to add those irrelevant extra features when you can’t even get the core function right? If you can’t guarantee timely and accurate publishing, what’s the difference between this and me manually posting on each platform one by one? I paid for a service, only to end up spending extra time fixing your mistakes—why would I waste money on your product?
What’s even more frustrating is the after-sales service! When such a serious technical issue that affects usage occurs, I tried to provide feedback only to find that you don’t even have a proper support channel! Documentation can’t solve technical glitches at all, and the feeling of being left with no way to seek help is simply terrible!
To sum up: Followr can’t even keep its most basic promise of “stable publishing,” and its after-sales service is practically non-existent. Only when you fix the stability of the core publishing function and launch an effective technical support channel will I consider revising my review. Otherwise, this is a completely substandard SaaS product that wastes users’ money and time!
If you can stabilize the success rate of the publishing management function at 99%, I’ll give 5 Tacos; if not, even 1 Taco is too generous!

Followr Asked for a Review so here it is
I give it one taco for one solitary reason. You cannot multi-select the media to delete and must remove each item one at a time it from the library. That is all. I have asked several times for the change and have been blown off. Change that and I will change my rating.

Nov 18, 2025We find that a bit excessive, but if that's how you feel, go ahead. We usually develop based on user demand, and that particular feature is not highly requested. Regardless, I will internalize it (take note of it) since it makes sense. That being said, we have been constantly developing new things for more than 2 years and we continue to release them, always based on what users ask for. I hope you...
