As an early supporter and LTD buyer, I believe it's fundamentally unfair that we're still restricted to using the GPT-4.1 mini model while newer, more capable LLMs are rapidly emerging. The pace of AI development is exponential, and limiting LTD users to older models undermines the long-term value we were promised.
While BYOK is technically an option, it introduces complexity and cost that many users cannot reasonably absorb. Requiring additional upgrades just to access newer models feels like a bait-and-switch, especially when the original LTD offer implied ongoing access to core features.
What’s more concerning is that many of the latest AI features—those built on newer models—are completely inaccessible to LTD users. This creates a fragmented experience where LTD buyers are excluded from the most innovative parts of the platform, despite having paid upfront to support its growth.
I understand the need for sustainable business models, but platforms should honor the spirit of LTD: early adopters help fund development and should not be penalized with outdated capabilities. A fair compromise might be tiered access or rotating model availability, but locking LTD users into a static model and excluding them from new features is not aligned with the value proposition we signed up for.

This was my first foray into app sumo.

I looked over white labels for a while as I just wanted a side hustle. Was willing to pay for a good platform or idea and this looked so good. Its the old saying isnt it.

I paid for the top tier ten.
Wouldn't you know it - as soon as I got my offer ready for customers and website together ready to sell and I had people ready to sub that were really interested, the original offer from followr just changed.

The ai image generators reduced to just Dalle . From a whole bunch to pick from.
And then the generous media credits I thought I'd paid for were reduced, adding access to ai video generation, one choice but for 100 credits, an agency now has 5500 credits, that's a huge reduction, we know ai gen chews through credits.

As a user (I tested it) when you click on the locked ai vid components on the dashboard menu, you're taken to plans, that basically sell direct to your customer in their company dashboard. That would be fair enough to onsell ai video, but as an "agency" no ability to choose not to, nor to hide those settings from the USER, to gate keep that or even have an option to on sell, put a margin on top? - but that is just selling the user/customer directly. I'm annoyed I don't even know what I'm selling my customer in the future because I'll end up either having a plan rugged underfoot, or followr will sell direct to the customer through the dashboard and make me look like a chump. Or on top of paying 800 dollars Id have to buy a monthly sub so my customers don't see the upsell. Not cool.

I wont buy from app sumo again if this is how it is.
As a buyer above said, feels like we are sales leads AND we paid for it and lost what we'd paid for.

The team behing Followr do not provide value to Sumoling purchasers.

I bought Max code 10, and I cannot access all the features and the so called future features.

Useless to say that this is not money well spent. I wish the people who negotiate these contracts ensure a true visibility for us who spend top dollars!!!

Purchased months ago with the promise of getting better. Yes it has gotten better but not for us Sumolings. It's unfortunate that you finally made improvements as promised but we have to pay more or upgrade. I purchased 10 codes but with the major limitations it's useless and as an Agency there is no way I can use this for that purpose.

10 codes, good credit amounts for images and videos but only 1 model available (DALLE-3 seriously!) to use unless I upgrade or purchase more. Ridiculous! Truly disappointed that I didn't request a refund when I had the chance instead of banking on promises.

Unfornate lesson learned.

Since then I´ve automated my Postings on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram and it works very well. No complains so far.
I Can´t confirm the Issues mentioned in some Posts.
