Q: How to Use a Custom Animated HTML Background in GoBrunch Meetings Instead of a Static Image

How can I change the background in a GoBrunch meeting to use a custom animated HTML background instead of just an image? I’d like to upload and use my own interactive or animated HTML as the meeting background. Is there a way to do this? If so, could you provide detailed steps or a solution?

A: Hey PrinceOfPersia, the way the users have been doing that is adding animated gifs as backgrounds or small animated gifs on top of the backgrounds to provide a sense of motion. However I have seen some advanced stuff like adding full screen players using custom HTML inside the editor. If that's what you're looking at, I'd recommend joining the community events to learn with them how to achieve this.

Hi Rechard GoBrunch,

I hope non-resizable full-screen players using custom HTML in the editor will work. Can you please give me instructions on how to do this, instead of waiting for the next community event? I’ll still join the community events for more ideas and updates in the future.

I will give you an overview as I never did that, that's why connecting with them would be important.
1. Join your room
2. Click on This Room
3. Click on Background and Editor
4. Open your developer tools
5. You can now inject your video player, but I have no idea the exact position.
Join some of these upcoming events and don't be shy to ask gobrunch.com/tasty. Cheers.

If you introduce a feature that allows users to set a video as background, with a 10 MB file size limit, it would be really helpful. I would like to use this service for scheduling meetings between patients and their psychologists. Having a beautiful, relaxing, and calming video background could make video consultations much more comfortable. Could you please consider adding this feature?

I can for sure. What you can do in this meantime is embed a big video in your room. In my experience visiting thousands of rooms and listening feedback, having animated backgrounds during the meetings can be a little bit overwhelming, that's why generally people have been adding small animations.
