Q: Questions on Security and Data Management

Hello GoBrunch Team,

Congratulations on a brilliant idea and a very cool implementation. Your platform truly stands out!

I have a few questions about security and data management that some clients, especially financial institutions, might raise:

- How does GoBrunch ensure email confidentiality? Are addresses visible to participants or shared with third parties?

- Is shared data (documents, messages) fully encrypted both in transit and at rest? Does your team have access to it, or is it accessible only to us?

- Where is your data hosted, and do you comply with GDPR or similar regulatory standards?

- What are your backup and disaster recovery strategies?

- Can we save or export documents, chats, and other exchanges?

Thank you in advance, and congratulations again on your fantastic platform!

Best,
Fabrice

A: Hey Fabrice, thank you for your support. I'm replying each of your concerns below:
1. GoBrunch ensures email confidentiality by design. Participants' email addresses are not visible to others during sessions or events. We also never share email addresses or any other personal data with third parties for marketing or any other purposes without explicit consent. You can find more details in our Privacy Policy https://blog.gobrunch.com/privacy-policy.
2. The list of our servers and their locations can be found here https://www.blog.gobrunch.com/_files/ugd/41581d_2c4c8b2d756a44b09c62ce728a60e903.pdf. GoBrunch has been complying with GDPR, ensuring data security, user consent, and privacy.
3. Specially for data, We have have daily backups from our cloud provider which ensures data availability and reliability.
4. Confidential information such as passwords are always hashed and we don't have access to it.
Hope that helps. Best.
5. You can always download uploaded documents. Chats can be copied and deleted.
Hope that helps.
