A: Hey! We constantly upgrade models as soon as we get the right rate limits and some of the above are already there. For newer models it usually take a good amount of time for us to get the rate limits from them.

I use Codex IDE. But the real question here is: are you talking about an IDE/a Mac app? Or you are talking about creation of Codex like software engineering assistant in-depth including different agents?
So there are multiple things to what your question has and I am not able to understand what your exact question is.

A: We get rate limits for models usually a few weeks/months after the model launch, so yes it does take time to get the rate limits to use the models publicly. As and when we get it, you will see them in Greta.
