Perfect for small events - the platform I was looking for
Guestboard is an amazing platform to have everything for an event, conference, Barcamp, whatever you want to plan; the functionalities are easy, Peter and his team provide good support, the integration with zoom, checklists, sponsors - all easy to use and for small events a tool I was looking for to interact with my participants aside of the "big" social networks. All in one platform. Thanks so much!
Virtual events are the new normal. If you are thinking of making events, know that it is very complicated but with GuestBoard everything will be easier. I am excited about the features and I am sure it will help me in my business. Peter Vandendriesse, Founder and CEO of Guestboard has very clear ideas and his roadmap looks absolutely fantastic and I am confident that he will take the suggestions into consideration. Guiestboard stands out from all other event platforms thanks to the possibility of organizing a community that can be profiled for groups. If you are an instructor or coach with a customer base with GuestBoard your business can grow without limits. I will probably try to create an event for meetings of friends and parties but the real strength is to aggregate a group of people who in this way contribute to the success of your event by sharing news and photos in the group chat. Currently I have taken 5 codes because I believe in this team and I want their success. Don't wait any longer and take this opportunity before this deal ends.
So I was excited to try this app but I was not wowed by the mobile experience. First of all, it looked like it would be easy to use. But mobile options were pretty limited. I already had a picture of an invite I wanted to add to the main page. I could attach it as a link/resource, but I couldn’t just post it in the invitation message. I even tried uploading it as a custom enadeee but that didn’t help my case.
Speaking of uploads, the upload screen was a little glitchy/slow, and I had to do the image selection a few times
I had trouble editing the event - it was confusing to have the three dots/hash with an edit option that didn’t really edit the invitation extra text, and the pencil image that did allow me to edit the extra text and images only.
Finally the program kept on resetting my time from 1100 to 3pm randomly after edits. That’s a HUGE bug that people may not catch in time.
Overall I was not as impressed as I could have been
Recommendations:
1. Allow posting of images or PDFs in main invitation
2. Fix the time change bug!
3. Allow more control on background color, text color, and font!

Mixed feelings
