Q: Do you integrate with If-So?

They have some issues with cached content (they are trying to solve it),
how well does Gumlet play with If-So?

A: Dear Sumo-ling,

We have not had a chance to test this.
However Gumlet does work with content dynamically added to the page.

Thanks :)

Here are a couple more questions

Does Gumlet support:
- Lottie animations (JSON via Body Movin plugin)?
- Retina @2x and @3x images?

A: Dear Sumo-ling,

Thank you for trying Gumlet.

Does Gumlet support:
- Lottie animations (JSON via Body Movin plugin)? No
- Retina @2x and @3x images? Yes. Retina screens are detected and images with higher DPR are automatically served.

I hope this helps :)

Q: I am trying it out and feel good.

I have a question that in the roadmap you mentioned: "Easy and affordable Custom domain / CNAME for all." Does this mean that after the Cname function is completed, I have to pay for it? Do you have an estimated price for me to consider?

A: Dear Spir,

Thank you for trying Gumlet.
The pricing for CNAME feature is not decided. It will be free or very affordable.
You would be able to pay for it using your appsumo credits. (each code gets you 100 gumlet credits)

I hope this helps :)

Q: Dear Divyesh, We have bought a license for Gumlet here on Appsumo and have now installed the Wordpress plugin on our site.

All seems to be working and the installation was very easy.

However, we don’t see the performance improvement that your web analyser predicts for our website. Here are links to your webanalyser results for our home page and a typical internal page:
https://analyser.gumlet.com/?report_id=5ea82e1c3238ce398bcf1bb1&submitted_url=https://www.pairfum.com
https://analyser.gumlet.com/?report_id=5ea82eea3238ce40edcf1bb6&submitted_url=https://www.pairfum.com/niche-perfume-natural-eau-de-parfum/
The predicted speed improvements are very impressive.

Sadly, we don't see them when we run a speed comparison with our site at it stands now (status quo) and with Gumlet installed :
https://www.webpagetest.org/video/compare.php?tests=200429_XT_f8c894063d5d2c4b36a6b94d3085f66e,200429_R7_546ac3f49ce6b860e7f1e5cdfe2461cb,200429_B5_dd633a574e786004ec7148c24a2761c8,200429_GV_c7b2fc02becb12641c3a6425eda5e3bc

For this test, we created a duplicate of our live site (a staging site) and installed the Gumlet Wordpress plugin there:
https://staging.pairfum.com

We then ran tests simulating a mobile versus a desktop on both the live site (https://www.pairfum.com) and the test site (https://staging.pairfum.com).

The results are pretty much identical.

Please advise why you believe that we don’t see the performance improvements your webanalyser predicts.

With kind regards,

Pairfum London

Q: HI, I've discussed with the Support regarding Brizy WP, tested it and It wont work ATM.

It is delivering images through their CDN but t the same time breaking the image upload inside Brizy.

Support said: "The way brizy generates these images dynamically is not supported by Gumlet plugin yet."

I hope this will be there someday soon…
If there Is a fix Id be happy to get lot of credits ;)
