Hi, Firstly, thanks for a great app. I had a dozen people see me use it and also got it. Question: I am from South Africa and my native language is Afrikaans. Although you say you support Afrikaans, it returns Dutch. Which is not the same at all. Is there anyway to fix this? Which service do you use for language- maybe I can contact them regarding this? Regarding Afrikaans, I'm sorry to hear that Hedy is returning Dutch. This is indeed an ongoing issue we are trying to solve. A month ago we made an update to try to force our speech recognition model to return Afrikaans instead of Dutch, and this is the first time we've heard that the issue is still continuing. We're going to keep working on this, as we have a fair amount of users from South Africa! In the future, do reach out via the support button in the app so we can work directly with you to improve this.
Hedy has been my meeting companion for few months now and it has been improving since (thanks to The founder).. one feature is asking questions directly using our microphone on mobile apps in addition to writing on keyboard. This will allow asking questions quicker and get the app to the next level. Are you guys planning this feature? Thanks
A: Thanks for the question! We definitely plan for Hedy to become a voice-based assistant down the road, but we don't have a spot on the roadmap for that yet. As a workaround for now, we recommend using the voice recognition that's built into your phone keyboard.
