I tried your app with high hopes, but it only had a 20% success rate. It translated my words incorrectly and using Brazilian Portuguese pronunciation. European Portuguese is very different from Brazilian Portuguese. Please improve this.
I have a Pixel phone and it detects 98% of what I'm saying correctly. It uses AI to understand what I am saying, and when it misunderstands something, it autocorrects in the moment to be appropriate with the conversation. It is really good in that regard.
I tried other 'memo' apps and they all translated well. Yours is the worst for Portuguese that I've tried. Please don't see this comment as negative feedback, but rather as a way to help improve your app."

Jan 10, 2025A: Thanks for the feedback! I had to revisit this, since we had previously looked into adding separate support for European vs Brazilian Portuguese. Unfortunately our speech recognition model was trained without differentiating the two, so we cannot ask the model to produce one or the other. It will simply return results that it thinks is the best fit.
We are constantly looking for ways to better support non-English languages. We did upgrade the model this week, so you can try again in version 1.11 and see if it returns better results. You can even enable the new "large" model in your settings (if your phone can run it) and it will likely have even better results. Do please let me know what you find!
