UomoMacchinaQ: Screen-off recording
I noticed that the recording stops if the screen is turned off or if a call is answered.
Among the future features, do you plan to include the ability to pause and possible auto-pause in case of a phone call?
Is it also planned to allow recording with the screen off (like Letterly does)?

Edited Jan 24, 2025A: Thanks for the question! As of version 1.11 Hedy does continue listening after an audio interruption. We also previously added background support, so you can capture a session with the screen off. The one exception is Android 15, which tends to kill the app in the background (we're working on resolving this).
I have an iPhone, and it happened that I turned off the display and found the recording interrupted, but I will conduct further tests. I would, however, like to have a button to pause and resume or, in any case, be able to resume a recording that was interrupted for any reason. 😅
I'm sorry to hear that your session was interrupted on your iPhone! The battery management on iPhone still might terminate Hedy in some cases... Unfortunately that's a black box. I recommend ensuring your battery is over 50% charged to avoid the chances of iOS terminating the app when the screen is off.
And yes, pausing sessions is something that's on our roadmap!
