Q: sharing our transcript data

Why does the privacy policy say that you share our transcript data with service providers, is this just the (presumably openai whisper) LLMaudio api, or are you sharing it with others? The transcript data is extremely sensitive for many lines of work so it's hard to use this seriously if you won't commit to keeping the transcript and audio data completely private. Analyzing it, extracting conversation data and saving these transcript analyses/data in any way is quite worrisome. I bought because of the privacy aspect you were pushing early on.

A: Thanks for the question. We take privacy very serious, and only share transcripts with partner companies that help us provide the functionality of the app. We have agreements in place with those companies to ensure your data is protected and not used for anything else.

Hi Julian thank you so much for sharing this! Very helpful and what I was looking for. However I want to understand 1 thing better, the NDA respecting+medical application recommendation: it says keep it local on phone and use secure sharing options. Does htis include webhooks, like is it secure https more secure than email recaps? I want to get it on my computer somehow without cloud/email.

Good question! Webhooks and our API send data in encrypted format, so from our side they are secure. Of course you'll need to ensure that the application where the data ends up satisfies your privacy requirements as well.
