Q: Does InPrivy Offer Zero-Knowledge Encryption and Secure View-Only PDF Sharing?
I am considering InPrivy for sharing confidential startup pitch decks and intellectual property with investors.
Could you clarify:
1. Are files encrypted client-side before upload, with zero-knowledge encryption, so even InPrivy staff cannot decrypt them?
2. Can recipients view PDF pitch decks directly in their browser without downloading the original?
3. Can I disable downloading, printing and copying?
4. Can I restrict access to specific verified email addresses and revoke it after viewing?
5. Are uploaded documents ever used for AI training, analytics or third-party processing?
6. Does the $39 lifetime plan include all these capabilities?

Why? First, I don’t know if the vendor has developed those "files encrypted client-side before upload etc." For me, it’s not necessary.I haven’t tested whether a PDF can be viewed in the browser without downloading it.I zipped my files!
But for you, I did the test a minute ago, it’s not Browser-View. It’s a direct download.
Public sharing i haven´t test it.
So, what’s strange? ;)
Hope that helps.
Sorry, I didn't catch it at first, I thought the reply was from InPrivy, the founder itself, Thanks for taking the time though

All good!!! From what I have seen, for public sharing (where clients can upload something too), you need a subdomain (Cname).
thanks, but when the vendor are not answering, makes me sceptic

Understood. There was a message at the end of September saying they are busy with client projects but will soon be ready with updates. I can say that all the tools I purchased from the vendor (Inprivy and Deftform <-- really cool) work as described. Inprivy also offers a 1GB upload volume instead of 500MB. Inprivy is a simple-to-use tool with own branding option. Think you must test it yourself.
