Great future ahead
I'm very impressed at the capabilities of this tool and planning definitely to utilise it for my next business that why I purchased tier 5. It has a great future ahead... I understand that the team had to choose between credit or BYOK for the LLM usage.... I strongly advise to bring BYOK as an option for the ones who would rather prefer that over the credit. For me that makes much more sense and fair not only for the customer but also for Insertchat team as it means bunch of savings on LLM cost unnecessarily... hoping they can come up with a solution.

This is the first review I’ve ever written, but I had to share my experience to save others from wasting their time and money.
-The Worst LTD I've Ever Bought in Six Years (with multiple AppSumo accounts for business and personal).
I've tried countless LTDs, and this one is the most disappointing, time-wasting, and stressful in every aspect.
-Questionable Reviews
Given the numerous issues, it's baffling how this app has glowing reviews.
-Terrible Product and Support
The app is riddled with issues, and the so-called "support" is virtually non-existent. Emails go unanswered; even when things are broken, a response'sthere's yet to be.
-Zero Support, Empty Promises
Their inline support always replies with the same canned message: "We are experiencing a high volume of inquiries, and we prioritize enterprise clients." You're out of luck if you're not a "big" client.
-A One-Person Show, Disguised as a Team: The "All-in-One Zak" business concept:
While the founder, "the all-in-one "Zak," claims to have a team of five employees, he's the only person you'll ever see—whether in newsletters, AppSumo reviews, or their Discord community. But there is no single clue whether this is a startup or a teamwork product.
-Setup Complexity with No Documentation
If you have not gained prior AI experience, you'll need another AI to figure out this platform. No explanations or documentation are provided, leaving users to fumble around in frustration.
-Unprecedented "Support Rules"
There were bizarre rules for submitting a support request at launch, practically guaranteeing no answers. This is unheard of in any professional business. How do you put "rules" for product support before a client starts a support conversation in business? How funny is that? Is it a "school"?
CNAME Setup Is a Gamble
Zak must handle custom domain setups. Sometimes, he does it; other times, you're ignored indefinitely. Imagine getting an issue with your whitelabel domain and wanting to change it to another. You should use the app URL while I paid for a CENAME/Whitelabel! Oh, that happened to me!
-Broken and Aggressive Cache System
Changes aren't reflected in real time. Refreshing the page multiple times is necessary; even then, updates like text color might not apply.
-White Label Issues
Despite paying for the white-label feature, network errors repeatedly disabled my branding. Instead of "powered by my company," the app reverted to "powered by Insertchart," undermining the add-on's purpose.
-Non-Functional Features
Integrations like WhatsApp, Agent Support Upon Request, Zapier, and even the chatbot don't work as advertised—it's a near-miracle if it does.
Over 90% of website sitemaps fail to crawl, returning errors. Even if you try to crawl the main domain by extracting the subdomains, sometimes you cannot remove any. Moreover, when the system detects multiple submissions of URLs, it will display a global button to remove the duplicates. That is awesome, but there is no way to achieve that; the browser will crash!
-Buggy White-Label Panel
The white-label admin panel became entirely unresponsive, making changes impossible. You can't, for example, change basic or vital inputs.
SMTP Setup Issues
Good luck getting SMTP to work—Again, it's a near-miracle if it does.
-Weird Chatbot Responses
The chatbot often generates nonsensical replies, making it unreliable for real-world use. Even the Speach future in English, might return results in Korean!
Speech Button Lag
The speech-to-text feature takes up to a minute to start reading responses aloud.
-Terrible Widget Design - does not give any clue of a premium product with many bugs.
The chatbot widget needs to be more appealing, far from the sleek design expected of a premium product.
-Agency Plan Lacks Basic Functionality
Even at the highest tier marketed as an "agency solution," you can't allocate credits per client. This makes reselling nearly impossible. Even though, still unfair to the seller or the buyer!
Tried Twice, but it is Still Broken, and no support
After refunding once, I gave the app another chance for three months. Nothing improved. It remains expensive, misleading, and a colossal waste of time.
-Heavy Interface
The app is so resource-intensive that it significantly slows down your browser.
-Any other issues: countless.
-Discard Support: The support was moved to discard. Maybe I missed it. I have never seen any premium business provide support on discard for a premium product? What's wrong with emails? Support system? Support chat style like intercom?
-Final Thoughts
Once you sign up for Insertchart, be prepared for endless promotional emails from "the all-in-one Zak; you just see Zak wherever and no person else, unusable features, network errors, and zero support.
This app disrespects your time and money, offering no value as a "premium product." I cannot recommend this to anyone and urge others to avoid it at all costs, neither an LTD nor a subscription.
Again, this is the first review I've ever written, but I had to share my experience to save others from wasting their time money, and stress.

Promising Potential, but Marred by Amateurish Execution
InsertChat is a software that initially seemed to hold significant potential for enhancing customer interaction through virtual agents. However, my experience has been less than ideal due to several critical issues.
One major drawback is the lack of clarity regarding the use of credits and the BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) feature. These ambiguities not only create confusion but also make it difficult to assess the platform's value and scalability, especially for professional use.
The reliance on Discord for customer support is another major red flag. While Discord might be convenient for a small team, it’s inappropriate for a company aiming to present itself as a reliable software provider. This approach undermines the perception of professionalism, exposes users' issues publicly, and raises serious privacy concerns. It suggests a lack of robust infrastructure and experienced personnel behind the project.
Moreover, the overall management of InsertChat comes across as erratic and amateurish. The unpredictable handling of updates and support interactions makes it hard to trust this product for agency-level projects. Building client-facing solutions on a shaky foundation is simply not feasible.
Ultimately, I couldn’t justify continuing with the software and have requested a refund. While InsertChat might work for hobbyists or small-scale projects, it’s far from ready to meet the demands of serious businesses.

A complete waste of time and mental energy
I regret the time and effort I invested in this product. Like many other reviewers, I found both the product—and, more significantly, the company—disappointing and unprofessional.
The bot’s performance is plagued by endless critical bugs and errors on a daily basis. To make matters worse, Discord is the only way to contact customer support, which is far from ideal. However, the main problem is that when users report bugs or errors, they are often met with rude and unprofessional replies rather than appreciation. Many reports don’t receive a response at all.
On their website, the bot is advertised as an enterprise-level product with a 4.9/5 rating, which is laughable. There is also no link or access to actual reviews, suggesting they may have awarded themselves this rating.
In summary, InsertChat is characterized by frequent critical bugs, insufficient documentation, unreliable support, and unprofessional customer service. These issues make it difficult to trust the product or the company behind it.

What an astonishing waste of time and money!
As other recent reviewers have mentioned, this product and company have been a massive disappointment. I was initially excited by the promise of quickly setting up a chatbot, but unfortunately, the product is plagued with critical issues. These range from severe hallucinations that jeopardize a company’s trust and reputation, to major UX problems that make the bot unusable on mobile devices. I’m left wondering if they’re testing anything at all.
Customer support has been both rude and unhelpful. With no proper documentation, basic features are poorly explained, forcing users through a steep learning curve and endless trial and error. I’ve spent hours testing my bot only to encounter new critical issues that move the goalposts even further.
I’ve also spent a lot of time documenting and reporting issues in their support Discord, which is confusing and a hassle to navigate.
Initially, I was hopeful, but in the end, I guess I have to face the facts and realize that I cannot rely on this product or company. I was so close to launching a bot for my client, but now I feel those hours were completely wasted, and I’ll likely need to switch to a more reliable solution. Hugely frustrating and disappointing.
InsertChat offers no apologies or accountability for the product’s failures or for losing customers, making it clear that user satisfaction is not a priority.
