StackPilotQ: Is Katteb Writer being replaced by the new Chat platform, and what happens to existing AppSumo lifetime plans?
As an existing lifetime customer with 10 redeemed codes and 150,000 monthly writing credits, I am concerned about the future of Katteb Writer.
Katteb's pricing page now appears to focus exclusively on the new Chat and AI Agents subscription plans. I cannot find a separate pricing page for the original Writer platform.
Could you please clarify:
1. Is Katteb Writer still being actively developed and supported?
2. Will existing lifetime customers retain their original features, monthly credits, and future updates?
3. If Writer is eventually replaced, will our lifetime entitlements transfer to the new platform without requiring another subscription?
4. Why is Writer no longer clearly listed as a separate product on your pricing page?

1. Is Katteb Writer still being actively developed and supported?
Yes it's still supported and receives regular updates and improvements.
2. Will existing lifetime customers retain their original features, monthly credits, and future updates?
Yes you'll get any future updates alongside your credits for lifetime for the Katteb writer platform.
3. If Writer is eventually replaced, will our lifetime entitlements transfer to the new platform without requiring another subscription?
It'll not be replaced, we just launched a new product that requires completely different infrastructure to run, as we rent virtual machine for each user with a unqiue IP address and set of tools to run agentic tasks, which why we couldn't offer this in the lifetime deal.
4. Why is Writer no longer clearly listed as a separate product on your pricing page?
Because we don't sell it anymore, but we'll keep on supporting it.
