We don’t currently publish a public roadmap or changelog, though we understand that’s something many users appreciate — and it’s something we’re considering for the future.
Recently, our focus has been on major infrastructure upgrades. We hit some scale-related challenges as usage grew, and a lot of effort went into reworking the underlying architecture to ensure stability and performance.
As the title says, is it suitable for tour operator / booking tour? I checked on your website and I saw Booking System for Wordpress is something I'd like to have instead of using woocommerce.
A: Hello! We have very happy tour operators who use kiwi, and especially it would work much smoother than woocommerce (add-ons). Only compromise that I can think of is the following: Tour operators generally ask in booking funnel "How many persons?", and you link it to the capacity of each tour. Let's assume you have a boat tour with 15 persons capacity, you can have 3 different groups buying for 5.
We have a feature that allows to add custom options. like "how many participants?" and you can add options like "1 person : $20", "2 persons: $35" and such. However since this is a generic option, it is not integrated to the capacity management, and this booking would be counted as 1. So if you want to use kiwi as a tool to get bookings, and manage capacity offline (if you are using third party agencies/brokers, that happens anyways", then it will work. But if kiwi will be your only platform to get bookings, you will have to manage capacity manually. It maybe a difficult compromise depending on how delicately you need to plan for capacity. A city tour generally has stretch but a safari tour doesn't. Apologies if it is a bit overwhelming, but wanted to make sure I share this information before you start an account.
Is there any way to get support for this product? I set this up for a client but I don't even see a support option in the interface. I can't find any documentation on the website or... anywhere. I was trying to set the application up to only allow one booking a day or even better, only specific types of bookings on specific days. I don't know if this is possible or not, and I am asking on appsumo because I can't find support of any kind on the kiwilaunch site. Am I missing something?
A: Hello! We have intercom messenger bubble at the right bottom of the page. We do a cookie check (as intercom uses cookies) and if intercom is not loaded, we are showing help button on the left side as a fall back, to guide you to reach support@kiwilaunch.com . Our documentation is readily available at help.kiwilaunch.com, normally it is also linked from both.
as to answering your question(s): you need to decide elaborate a bit more what you mean. You can play with working hours, service schedule type, service duration and service buffer time to probably configure what you want. Please feel free to reach support for further questions!
How is the white label? can I edit the theme and add my logo? there is app so user friendly>? I seen someone mentioned the app not working.. Can I collect emails? and hook up with email system? The video meetings are available already? Thx
A: Hello! The actual value proposition of our platform is being a whitelabel, meaning any service provider can sell their services with their own logo and brand. However we don't have an agency whitelabel, meaning the configuration of the online booking page is done from the kiwilaunch branded admin panel. The bookings will be made with emails, you can integrate via zapier and push them to mailchimp. video meetings are available through Google Meet only.
Q: Is this still being updated?
Do you have a roadmap of what is being rolled out? Do you have a change log anywhere?
