Videos don’t play on smartphones and tablets (the videos stay stuck on loading).
I had contact with Joe/konvey on this issue which made me hopeful things would improve so I didn’t make use of the 60 day refund policy.

Now, more than 2 months later, the issue is still there and no replies from Joe/konvey. In the meanwhile they started to use my email address to promote (their) other LTDs (similar to konvey).

I regret purchasing konvey and not making use of the 60 day money back.

I've tried really hard to make Konvey work, as I think it has high potential to replace Loom.

Some basic things are broken – e.g. videos don't play in Safari. Others have pointed this out, and I encountered it as well. I've written support, supplied videos of the problem (recorded with Konvey, ironically), tried to follow up – but no one responds. I've diligently submitted other bugs, taken a lot of effort to provide screenshots and details, but I no longer hear back.

In the first few months after purchasing the deal, support and the founder were very responsive. But now, radio silence, and it looks like the tool hasn't been updated in any way (that I can see) for some time now.

I really hope support and updates to the tool start again. That would be ideal! Otherwise, I'd rather they shut down rather than drag it out, so folks can take advantage of AppSumo's I Got Your Back guarantee.

I have a powerful laptop that handles a range of apps and recording capabilities. However, despite that, I cannot get a 'clean', high resolution screen recording using Konvey. I also have a terrible time getting the default mic to work properly. I resorted to opening Konvey in Chrome and trying to record the screen from Edge. Still resulted in delayed video, glitchy video, and very slow rendering of web pages in the browser. Often the screen was frozen in the recording. The results are even worse when I tried recording both screen + camera. I made attempts to troubleshoot with their team but that too failed. Huge disappointment.

Not yet a Loom killer...
Basic functionalities are missing or not working. For example, I was never able to record a video of one tab of my browser with my cam. I said I wanted my screen + cam, I chose my tab and saw my webcam during the recording but then it didn't appear on the end video. I wrote to the support which didn't seem surprised and just advised me to record my all screen instead of one tab to see my cam. Could be a short term workaround but not acceptable as a long term solution and 2 months later, it's still the same. Also, in my last try, I even lost my video. It said it was uploaded correctly and I never could find it on my dashboard.
Also, there's no video editing, not even basic things like cutting the beginning or the end.

I would have been ready to trade some Loom "advanced" video editing feature for the possibility to invite anonymous people to record videos with a link but it's not even to that point yet. Basically, I consider the product not production ready and I see the roadmap focus only on advanced marketing possibilities when the foundation is still not there. I refunded my purchase as I don't think Konvey has the right priorities and it may threaten the future of the project.

I had high hopes for this product, I expected it to be a solid alternative to Loom. Unfortunately, it falls short in several critical areas. The biggest issue is the complete lack of support—when you run into problems, there’s no help to be found. On top of that, there have been no updates or improvements for a long time. The software is outdated and very unreliable. I would not recommend this product at all! If you are looking for viable alternatives to Loom, save your time and look elsewhere.
