Q: CWVs: Any Planned Improvements to Core Web Vitals?

Hi, nice demo sites. I was looking at them and wondering if you have any planned improvements to the core web vitals (CWVs)? Big benefits from other ecom platforms like Wordpress are the customization and caching abilities. See scores below (out of 100).

Consistent trends include: Very slow mobile performance, no next gen images, big Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) with

section height/width, and un-minified chucks of JS.

A: Thank you for your feedback and for sharing the performance scores. We understand the importance of Core Web Vitals (CWVs) and are actively working on improvements to enhance performance. Currently, our First Contentful Paint (FTB) is 1.1 seconds on mobile and 0.3 seconds on desktop, with the overall load time at 2.7 seconds on desktop. Mobile load times are a bit longer due to factors like larger images and other elements . We are optimizing our codebase and deploying servers worldwide to improve global user experience with faster pings.

We recognize that mobile performance is sometimes (around 60-70) due to larger data sets , and we're continually refining our platform to reduce this and this depends of themes as well . Optimizing the structure of components, especially on landing pages, can help by reducing the amount of data being loaded. We are also focusing on implementing next-gen images and minimizing the cumulative layout shift (CLS) by adjusting section height/width. Additionally, full control over customization is available, and you can modify the look and feel of your store using custom CSS for each component block. We’ll keep you updated on our progress as we work towards providing the best performance for both desktop and mobile users.

Thank you for your support

@Jollygreen - Then go pay Wordpress. You'll pay Wordpress more than than this every single year. There are many problematic "consistent trends" over there, too, which is why you are considering this offer. Another useless comment. This is why these AppSumo companies get overwhelmed with Support tickets.

Wordpress is free, but I do pay for several plugins like TaxJar and CartFlows along with an edge CDN. Its only as good as your development skills.
