Q: Activations for friends/family/clients
Hi Anton/Ilfat,
I'm interested in purchasing extra codes to gift to others.
1)If I wanted to gift this to others (1 device per person) - how would I do this? Do I send out an email invite from my account specifying they can use Letterly on one device?
2)Is each account entirely seperate (i.e it's own 'workspace') where others can't see how it is used?
3)If I invited someone to use a device what do they see (if anything) if they looked at their 'account settings', would they see '(My name) Workspace - AppSumo Tier 3 etc'?
4)Can invitations or 'devices' be reoked after invites are sent to free up for someone else?
Many thanks,
Matt

Jun 7, 2025A: Hi Matt, thanks for the questions! We’re glad you like Letterly as a gift! :) Now I’ll answer everything:
1. You just ask the person for their email and add that email in your account at account.letterly.app. That’s it — when they log in with that email, they’ll see an invitation to get PRO.
2. Yes, if you log into Letterly with a specific email, that email has its own workspace. So if your friend logs in with their own email, they’ll have their own notes and everything separate.
3. In their settings, they’ll just see their own email and a lifetime access mark. They won’t see your email (the email of the account.letterly.app holder) anywhere.
4. Yes, if you have access to account.letterly.app as the account holder, you can revoke access from anyone you want.
So if I understand correctly, if after gifting to the friend and they accept the "invitation" for PRO, after which they have their own notes and everything separate - but in number 4, you say we can still revoke access. Therefore, as the gifter will always have control over the gifted account?
