Q: Is it possible to disable Letterly on one devise and then reuse the same code on a different devise?
Say, I start with Letterly on my iPhone and later I find that it would be better on my macbook, or iPad. Would I be able to disable it on my iPhone, and use the same code to activate Letterly on my MacBook ?
If I purchase 1 code (1 device license), can I use the web app on my laptop browser without it counting as a device license, while using the mobile app on my phone as the 1 licensed device?

A: Hi! Thank you for your question! The web counts as a separate device, then in order to have your phone and the web browser, you would need two licenses :)
I don't seem to be able to leave a review -- so if someone sees my question and they are looking at Letterly - I would encourage you to grab it. I LOVE the fact that I can create a custom prompt and use it over and over. I use Letterly to transcribe tutoring lessons and based on my saved custom prompt create homework messages with parent feedback. I threw together a quick video to share with other teachers for anyone that wants more info - https://youtube.com/live/VewNDVUbSOE

Can your software assist me with combining and making sense of chat history's from different AI assistant softwares? If so, please explain in detail. Thanks

A: Hi, and thanks for reaching out!
Letterly itself is a voice-to-text app — it turns your speech into clean, structured text and can then rewrite or summarize it. So out of the box, it doesn't have a built-in feature to pull in and merge chat histories from other AI assistants.
That said, there might be a way to do something similar through our MCP integration. With MCP you can, for example,...
A: Great question! Short answer: they solve different problems.
What Apple actually announced
A smarter Siri in iOS 27, and as part of it — better live dictation: Siri will add punctuation, capitalization, and formatting on the fly as you speak.
Why it doesn't replace Letterly
1) It's just dictation, we do dictation and more. Siri turns speech into text live. Letterly handles not only...

Q: iOS 27 & Dictation
How will the latest AI update for Siri on iOS 27 effect apps like these?
If this will become redundant, does it make sense purchasing at this time?
