Q: How does this compare to Wispr Flow?

As you may know Wisp Flow is a dictation tool that uses AI to convert your speech to text, so the core is pretty much the same as Letterly.

Obviously this is a LTD, whereas Flow is a subscription. But aside from that, how do you compare to Flow? Are there use cases that would apply more to Letterly and vice versa?

One big difference I can think of is Letterly is limited to 90-min, while Flow is unlimited.

Basically I'm trying to decide why I would want to purchase this deal, if I'm already using Wispr Flow. Aside from the recurring cost in the long-run, is there anything else you want to pitch here?

A: Hi and thanks for the thoughtful question :)

We usually do not love doing direct one to one comparisons, but I would say the main idea with Letterly is not only to turn speech into text, but to let you then work with your notes
rewrite them for different use cases, translate, tag and organize, come back later and record more into the same note for journaling, ideas, posts and so on.

You are right, Letterly has a 90 minute limit per recording, but you can create unlimited notes and continue in the same note when needed. For many note taking and journaling scenarios this is usually enough, but it depends a lot on your personal workflow ofc

The best way is probably to try it in practice and see how it fits you! There is a 7 day free trial in the app stores, and on AppSumo you also have a 60 day money back guarantee, so you can test it without long term risk. :) hope you'll love it!
