If you’re using an iPhone, you can already start a recording with Siri by saying:
“Hey Siri, start recording in Letterly.”
This should open Letterly and start recording automatically.

Stopping or pausing the recording by voice is a bit trickier. Once the recording has started, Letterly is listening to what should become part of the note, so it’s not always clear what should be treated as dictated content and what should be treated as a command to stop or pause.

That said, we have been thinking about ways to make this easier. For example, one idea is to connect “Stop Recording” to the iPhone Action Button.

Choosing the format or a prompt by voice is not available at the moment, but it’s a very interesting idea. That's what we will be working on soon. So you don't have to apply the rewrite manually :)
