I’ve been using the Letterly app for some time now, and I am genuinely impressed by its quality. The app is incredibly stable, the synchronization is flawless, and the speech recognition is top-notch. Throughout my testing, I haven’t encountered a single bug in the interface.

However, what truly blew me away was the customer support. I’ve used many different services, but I have never seen this level of commitment to a customer. I had a complex technical issue involving ProtonMail integration. The support team was fully dedicated to my case: they provided new solutions every day, tried to reproduce the error on their end, and didn't give up until they found the root cause. In the end, the issue was completely resolved.

I have tried a few "record meetings and summarise it later" apps, both physical and software built-in or as "plugins". I spend most of my life on Zoom, Teams, or Discord and find things like Otter and Zoom AI ok, and Plaud is great as a physical option, but Letterly is the best yet. It is not good at "know who is talking" as it happens, and hence you get a huge "wall of text" as it transcribes, but it transcribes very well, and as soon as you use any of the summary options, it gets it 90%+ right as to who was talking.

Last week, I went beyond work (all Christmas and no Lego makes Nic bored) and tested several options on a D&D session (Forge DTT) and a string of Among us games. Letterly gave us the best summaries.

Je parle français et je dois dire que les transcriptions sont excellentes, ainsi que les traductions et toutes les options et possibilités que Letterly offrent pour modifier votre texte et le structurer. Vraiment un bon choix !

I tested it several times. Doesn't record my voice after several minutes. It runs and animates so it seems to working and capturing my voice. But after my voice ends, it shows only a few mins of talks, not the full version. Don't know why it happens. Also sometimes it detects Hindi language instead of Bengali. And there are many languages in the dropdown menu but not Bengali.

I had been using letterly for a little while - Known to me as Jeremy (he's my journal you see) frankly I am sure there is much more I could and should be using it for - still much to learn
