I had been using letterly for a little while - Known to me as Jeremy (he's my journal you see) frankly I am sure there is much more I could and should be using it for - still much to learn

Letterly is an amazing app. One of my favorite things about it is that if you use it on a Mac, you can have a floating microphone bar where you can speak directly into your email or any other text program, including directly into an AI. It has some of the cleanest transcribing I've ever seen, and it's extremely easy to do a touch up so that it removes all of your filled pauses like ums and uhs, does AI rewrites, and cleans up formatting.

You can talk and it will make you a list. You can talk and it will give you prose. It has a huge amount of options, and I really think this is extremely useful, especially for someone like me who isn't always motivated to sit and type into a keyboard, but just wants to get my thoughts out and make them into prose quickly.

I use it while I'm driving. I use it while I'm cooking. I use it basically anytime I want to be thinking aloud, but have a hands-free experience, and it gives me extraordinarily useful text.

The only issue I've had with Letterly so far is that if you push the button to record and you don't talk and then you stop it, it will generate random text that you didn't say. I'm not sure that it's a big problem because I just end up deleting those, but it's just the only thing I've noticed so far that doesn't quite make sense.

A simple app that's great for busy people. Here are the ways I use it:
1. Work. As a CPA, I will have a meeting with my clients, and we simply talk. I'll let Letterly run, and I've trained myself to repeat key words and state as many questions to assist the AI. Our meeting will last about an hour. I simply hit "rewrite structured" and it will output a beautiful summary with deliverables. I immediately send it off to the client, and they are impressed.

2. Learning. I have a business mentor I meet with every week, and I simply keep Letterly running. I use "rewrite" to give me highlights of our meeting.

3. Productivity, Habits, public speaking training - every morning I would have ChatGPT give me a topic, and I will extemporaneously give a 2 minute presentation on that topic into Letterly. This allows me to look back and see if my response to the question was sufficient, and I try to improve on it.

4. Language learning- I will talk to myself in Italian and let letterly translate it back. This has been helpful in correcting my grammar.

5. ToDo list! This is probably my favorite. Just talk freely, its okay to be chaotic. I will mention everything I can remember that I have to do, then let it rewrite my to-do list.

My next mission is to use the webhooks and zapier integrations. Any ideas?

Tengo que decirlo: Letterly es, sin lugar a dudas, una joya. En un mundo donde el tiempo es oro, encontrar una herramienta que no solo te ayude, sino que realmente facilite tu vida laboral, es algo para celebrar.

Lo que más me ha emocionado es su conversión de voz a texto; es genial y extremadamente precisa, capturando cada detalle. Para alguien como yo, que vive saltando de reunión en reunión, la facilidad de usarla en el dispositivo móvil es un verdadero salvavidas.

Lo que realmente me encantó (Las Ventajas):

La "Magia" es real: Entre sus diferentes tipos de resúmenes, la opción "Magia" hace honor a su nombre. Literalmente transforma transcripciones crudas en oro puro, estructurando la información de manera brillante.

Capacidad de sobra: El límite de 90 minutos para grabaciones es una ventaja competitiva enorme, ideal para esas juntas largas y detalladas.

Ecosistema conectado: Comencé con un código y me gustó tanto que ahora tengo tres (móvil, PC y tablet). La sincronización entre dispositivos funciona de maravilla y me permite fluir en mi trabajo sin barreras.

Áreas de Oportunidad (siendo un poco exigente):

A pesar de recomendarla ampliamente, hay detalles que, si se pulen, harían de esta app algo legendario:

Estabilidad en archivos pesados: Tuve una experiencia frustrante al subir un audio de 60 minutos; la app se quedó "procesando" por horas sin arrojar el resultado. Se deben corregir estos fallos en archivos largos.

Modelo de Licencia: Aunque entiendo las diferencias en las ofertas "de por vida", sería mucho más amigable que la suscripción se basara en la cuenta de usuario y no en el dispositivo físico.

Deseo a futuro: Me encantaría ver una evolución hacia la accesibilidad bidireccional: sería increíble poder pegar texto y que la app lo lea con una función de Texto a Voz.

Conclusión: Podría seguir escribiendo párrafos enteros sobre las bondades de Letterly, pero basta con decir que es una GRAN HERRAMIENTA. Con un poco más de evolución y corrección de esos detalles técnicos, será imparable. ¡Gracias por crear esto!
