Imported my GBP listings from our agency dashboard. Fine. But I want to add other GBPs that are not in our dashboard. Emailed support several times. They didn't read my emails and gave me replies that did not address my needs. I can only assume you can't do recurring map grid ranking reports unless you have it in your GBP management dashboard? Anyway, the app is also buggy. They claim all of these "features" but there's nothing you can't already do in your GBP profile. Worst of all, the map grid rank tracking is extremely slow and buggy. Refunded.

Product refunded. A lot of bugs mentioned in reviews from 2024 and earlier still exist. A new one popped up while I was using it and was there for a month, making the local grid useless. The new bug would see certain points on the "local grid" with red dots saying your business was ranked 20+....because it was looking at rankings of your business in other cities around the world and not the local area. My business was in Brisbane, Australia, while the local grid was comparing it to businesses in New York...

Security issue - Whenever there was an issue with Local Ranking Captain, someone from support would confirm the issue saying "I've logged in to your account to have a look" and then send a screenshot of my admin panel. So that also means staff have full access to your account, and with the admin panel having the ability to change anything about your GBP means staff can change it, thus security of your GBP is reliant on Ranking Captain's security after connecting it.

Many of the promised features didn't work either, such as preventing changes to your GBP profile being made.

I purchased this tool after the founder confirmed that I could scan competitors without needing a GBP profile. However, upon trying to use the tool, I found that the onboarding process is forceful (cannot be skipped) requires connecting a GBP profile. As I do not have one and only wanted to use the competitor scanning features, this was disappointing.

This requirement limits the tool's accessibility for for users like me who just want to scan competitors without connecting a GBP profile.

It would of been helpful if this information was clearly stated upfront, as it could save potential users time and effort & wasted money.

I hope the team considers offering an alternative onboarding process for those who do not have a GBP profile, however doesnt seem like the owner cares about changing the current onboarding process so Ive refunded.

I don't have a great deal of experience with local rank tracking software, but have used things like Local Falcon in the past.

For my agency, totalsurf.net the main thing I need is accurate reporting, to show where my clients are for specific keywords, and this tool does it very well.

I had a bit of confusion with the interface to start with, but support was really quick and helped me out.

I hope the tool continues to develop and offer more value, but I am very happy with how it works for me.
