A: The program does not provide its own proxies. It's not something that we can afford to offer at such a low price. Some customers run 8 copies of the program per PC and the license allows for 2, so 16 copies of the program running across 2 PCs per customer would be more money in proxies than we make. While the $99 seems large upfront it's only $8.25 per month.
The program does support proxies, and if they are needed (they may not be) we recommend companies we have used in the past that work well. If you need them entirely depends on who you want to scrape from and the budget needed is entirely on how much scraping you want to do.
A: The website is online as is the license server. We were moving web hosts so there was some downtime and we ran into a bug during the move that was resolved. We are still looking into if any other bugs have popped up from the move and fixing them as we find them.

If you search for "Cafes in Utah" you will get 120 results. The program will not take a state name and then build an automatic scraper of every city in the state. It is up to the user to build a list of locations to scrape. But it is totally possible with the program and the majority of users are doing just that.

I'm looking for a scraper that can scrap the tags. For example if im scraping for dog parks and i want to know if they have a section for little dogs and one for big dogs or is there parking, bathrooms, etc... Just wondering if it scraps tags as well.
A: We do scrape the tags from Google Maps, stuff like good for pets, parking, assessibility, the atmosphere. We also scrape the details for hotels like Pool, Spa, Gym stuff like that. I don't think google has a big dogs and little dogs tags, they just have a general OK for Pets and nothing on if the location has bathrooms.

I’m building out a state wide directory. Can in enter the state for example Utah and have it scrape all businesses in that state?
