Q: Does this have the ability to create notes internally so we don't need to upload external docs?

Nov 26, 2024A: Hi Steve, Afforai is the all-in-one workspace designed for researching and writing, aiding users in managing references, conducting literature reviews, annotating files, taking notes, and crafting papers. Our primary objective is to empower our users to create exceptional, research-backed papers (but not do it for them).
We recently launched the Afforai Document Writer, which allows you create your own notes, docs, and to chat with your document as you write, let you import notes from your chatbot and annotations from Afforai File Annotator, and allows real-time sharing and collaboration with both Afforai users and non-users.
Is the Afforai Document Writer included with this LTD? And if so, would it work for my use case? I want to be able to create internal notes/documents directly in Afforai (not uploading anything), using Afforai as a central repository for all my notes. As I add/update these notes the AI should be constantly training itself on the data contained in these notes.
You can access Afforai Document Writer with a paid account and your use case sounds like a good fit. Yes, you can create documents directly in Afforai Document Writer and use it as a central repo for your notes. The AI research assistant on the right side bar have a feature to connect your current viewing document to the AI so it has the context and ability to understand what you write in real tim
I then want the ability to start a chat with the AI, independent of any particular document, and be able to query the AI about information contained within any one or several internal documents. Basically have an intelligent chat with the AI where it will know the answers based on the information from my interal notes.
You can do this with Afforai Research Assistant's Document Retrieval mode.
For example, let's say I'm creating daily notes and I want to remember something I documented about XYZ. The AI should be able to find this information no matter which note or collection of notes it lives in and tell me what I need to know. Is this possible with Afforai?
To an extent yes, but not specialized for this use case.
