Afforai is built specifically for the needs of researchers.

- Academic citations: We already support academic citation for documents uploaded, along with the ability to generate the citation in the Al answer. This auto metadata extraction engine is on par with the best reference managers in the industry (such as Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote).

- File Viewer: Along with the Al chatbot, we allow users to cross-check the Al-generated answer with the source file in one screen

- Afforai Notebook: Along with chatting with documents, we also developed a file annotation that allows the user to collaborate with others, as well as use the Al on annotation such as text highlights or images. Essentially chatting with images such as graphs, charts, etc.

- File Organization and Management: Since researchers usually have a large collection of documents, we provide a much more expansive organization system for the users, with sub-folders, tags, and multiple libraries.
