I'm Dom, the solo developer behind Luttie

Apart from being a developer, I am a content creator, and I work across a lot of different machines: a desktop at home, a laptop on the road, whatever's in front of me. Editing never really fit that.. The tools that do it well are heavy installs that want a powerful machine, and your edits live on whichever computer you set them up on.

I decided to tackle that problem, starting with color grading!

I think color grading should be simple, portable, and possible on any machine, whatever its specs. So I built Luttie: a color grading editor that runs entirely in your browser. Open a photo, a RAW file, or a video clip, grade it, and export the look as a .cube LUT that works in Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, Lightroom, CapCut, and anything else that reads LUTs.

I also think grading is overdue for modernizing. You can still build a look by hand with color wheels, curves, and HSL, the same controls pro colorists use. But you can also describe it in plain English and let AI Grade read your image and give you three takes to start from. Tell Grade Chat "less orange in the skin" and it adjusts. Drop in a reference photo you love and Color Match builds a LUT from it. And with our MCP server, AI agents can grade and generate LUTs for you too.

Grading and export happen right on your device, so there's nothing to install and exports are unlimited.

Color grading has a much higher ceiling than today's software lets it reach, and I want to push it there. That's why I'm launching on AppSumo: this is the community I want building it with me, and your feedback will shape where Luttie goes next.
